Regarding electricity costs: I'd exercise caution in generalizing the entire country because it depends on where you live. Some providers and cooperatives can either be pricier or more cost-effective/efficient/cheaper than others. Some even have oversupplies and give it to other cooperatives. You'll find it relatively cheaper in areas close to geothermal plants or hydroelectric dams too.
For your MC: Wow, that. is. a. darn. good. price. As for the food price comparison (HKGIAO), not just any hot sauce you have on the table but a proper bottle of Tabasco to boot! PHP165K a mo. is almost like a full 2-3 BR house with 2-car garage and a garden in a gated subdivision in the NCR! My friend's NGO office based in an old house (ca. late 80s but well maintained) in the suburbs of Quezon City and the office pays rent for the same specs (also in a gated and peaceful subdivision)-walking distance to public transportation, groceries, a church and food joints and named restos just outside the subdivision. Means, that HK apartment is really expensive!
You are right Jay. HK where I live and work, prices of everything is expensive but we enjoy safety, the convenience of almost everything and a good government. You are living a good life in Siargao.
I heard about that before HK being an expensive country. Always enjoy when vlogs includes scenes of cafés/ restaurants and some local sceneries. Take care guys! 🥥🌴☕
I hope things will go even better for your family here in the country., and soon you could speak our language and some local dialects.. and do trust our public schools because going yo school could help her familiarize with the custom and culture of the Philippines. I really am so frustrated with so many foreigners living here but never tried to learn howto speak our language and be closer to locals emough to trust them to call them friends.
Why do you want foreigners to local languages while they are in this country? Don't you think they can not be understood if they speak English? I'm sure you're not an ignorant individual.
Hi, just out of curiosity, there's a winter season in Thailand? I understand Hong Kong do have winter season, alsoThailand? just askin for future travel. Thanks!
Westerners prefer to live in province area of Philippines specially if they are on the pension, and some who rely their income by vlogging. So many Filipinos who are living overseas are now returning to Philippines with their family. I might do the same thing next year.
Wow. That's a great deal. As well as having someone else register it for you after modifying it. I'm up 20k pesos just for parts (tires/lights/rotors/etc) and self-install.
We just spent the day looking at several properties we have in Cebu. We are going forward with the one that is the best location and view of the ocean. Just a few more years we will break ground on the last home we will own. I have many skills with home and cars almost expert level mechanical knowledge.
I was at MOA, saw all these electric motorcycle s on display and they’re made in the 🇵🇭 The one I like cost 75k and if I pay cash or one time credit card payment it will cost 70k. I just found out there’s a mini EV car and it’s made in the 🇵🇭 for 800k. The name is Candy.
Hey we are coming to siragao in January 7-14. Would you say we should give it a miss as it’s rainy season? Or does it just rain in short bursts with sun otherwise
You have to learn the local language so that you won’t be scammed in dealing things etc… I know there’s a lot of tropical fruits like Guyabano & Mangosteen there it’s the best anti cancer fruits too

They say Singapore can be expensive, but damn HK is on a different level -- you would even think twice about buying food there.

Nice MC. You need to get a motorcycle cover so the sea breeze cant get to it easily.
I just remembered your car project! How’s that going?
Please update us on the schooling of Story. How is she doing?
if you want to live on a budget there is a way. specially if you buy all your supplied in the local market and not imported.
Would you try sailing or boating in East Philippine Sea?
The life style in hongkong is not the same in philippines hongkong is very expensive.
I'ts more fun in the Philippines....
Siargao name now,,Westerner 🏝️ Island 🏝️😂😂😂🤣🤣
I think I'd rather live in a place where the power is more dependable. Your "freedom"is the expense of people who don't know any better.
