We have a 30 ft travel trailer and we live in Michigan. We plan on going up north for the next couple months to enjoy the outdoors and the water and beach and watch the boats and ships 🚢. If u ever get a chance to go to Mackinaw Island it’s so beautiful! There are no cars and everyone walks, ride bikes or carriage ride. The homes and shops are so pretty. 💗🌷 Enjoy your summer 🫶

I remember growing up, we were a family of eleven & sat at the table ( which was made by my dad )for every meal. We had cooked meals with homemade desserts except for Saturday. On Sunday mom would fix a big breakfast, a big Sunday dinner & that night she would make homemade pizza. Yes, she was wonder women ❤
My dad, he worked hard & at one time had a motorcycle shop, he also fixed appliances for the people in our small town. Our dad was also a carpenter which he made a lot of our furniture
( which our family still has some of it )
They’re both gone now, but the memories of all of us sitting at that table is priceless.

Front Foyer Rug: I have a larger foyer, & I am not doing a large rug or long runner anymore!...just inside the door, I have a smaller 'mat'... 2 x 3...just something for people to wipe their shoes on (as well as an outdoor mat outside the front door for getting the real schmutz off!)... the inside one is then more, for residual! They are very inexpensive...and I purchase a neutral color, for use year round...every spring, I move it to the garage, in front of one of the doors there...the old garage one gets tossed...and the inside front door gets a fresh oneI I get a good 2 years out of each little mat!

Do you have a reading list already? I love getting similar book recommendations, if you are comfortable sharing your list? You might like the books Magical Midlife Madness, by K.F. Breene. I just finished the series, and they are a mental disapearing act. I tuned out everything while reading these. They might be too out there for you, as I don't know your fantasy preferences, but I took a shot with them and they were a fun fast read. You may like them?

Girl, you just had major surgery 3 weeks ago! As much as I love your Sunday Reset videos, you should not be pushing a vacuum and all the cleaning and bending you’re doing! Take it easy, and let your family take care of you!

I am in the process of packing. My husband and I currently live in an 892 square foot 1 bedroom + den apartment, and we are purchasing a home in one of the suburbs of Minneapolis. It is an older home (built in the 1950s) with 970 square feet (1 level, so no basement). It has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and it sits on an almost 1/4 acre lot. The backyard is completely fenced in so our dog will have her own private space. We are scheduled to close on August 2nd, so fingers crossed and prayers said, it will all go according to plan and we don't hit any unforeseen road blocks along the way. The house definitely needs some updating and changes need to be made, but it will be a marathon and not a sprint to get to the finish line. I am excited to watch it become the home it deserves to be. We are actually seriously considering turning one of the bedrooms into a laundry room. And we have some other plans as well. The first space that I plan to tackle is the one bathroom. I ordered some beautiful peel and stick wallpaper to use on an accent wall and I purchased a new vanity. Once the wallpaper is hung up and the vanity installed, then we will look at finding a new mirror and light fixture. And of course, the remaining walls need to be painted.

We were in Ohio Amish country this past week and I picked up some marbled cheese and cinnamon raisin bread. I cut up the cheese, some cantaloupe, strawberries, apples, and added some grapes. It was a great Father’s Day treat.
