Man, I absolutely love the Paja vids. I live up in Denver and the trip I made last summer down to Pajarito was amazing, there was absolutely nobody there and I only had half a day to ride it, but I love how local the trails feel and how the tech is favored over big jumps, like at Angelfire or something. Favorite bike park, love reliving it through the enduro vids Macky, thanks for posting this!

I've found when I set the alarm to get up for an event or organised rides I always sleep badly, wake up frequently and take forever to fall a sleep then wake an hour or so later and so on.
What I have found recently is if I go to bed as usual and have my wife set herself a reminder to set my alarm for the required time. It reduces my anxiety, I sleep uninterrupted and well and get woken up by the alarm.

We've been experimenting with the Q Collar (bit.ly/3OHSztD) which is used to protect against micro concussions. They sent us a couple to try out, so we're using them when at the bike park and racing enduro. Haven't been using them long enough to say anything one way it another, but figure a little extra protection is never a bad thing! I tried climbing in it a bit at Glorieta maybe a month or so ago and it was annoying at first but I quickly stopped noticing it. That is much more responsible behaviour, than here in Poland. People are sending kids to school even knowing they are sick, whole 40 kids class then get's it, and at the end parents get is, my friend and his wife got it 3 times now (initial strain, omicron and now ba.4). I also had it. Regarding home tests, they are actually very precise, they will show up the line when you are at the very high organism response - apogeum - either 2 days before it , the day, and 2 days after it. I had like 7 tests to fiddle with them and they shown only in the highest virulency period 'during the worst 5 days'. After that ... they do not show second line, just 'control' line.

Or do a bolt check before a race as racers normally do, by their mechanic if they have one or themselves.
Edit: not just a race. Anything built by Syd as he said she's known for that issue.
