I had a 6" diameter trunk on a bonsai tree, a 2' podacarpus, and have small rotary saws to carve dead wood into the branches and trunk. The compressor is in one shed and the hose came around to the laundry room shed so it wasn't too noisy. (Artists need quiet) I abandoned all this but the tools are sitting in a box. It was pretty cool stuff.
I'm in the process of buying my first house and your tool series has been super helpful. Its made it easier to prioritize the tools I will need. Thanks Lumnah Acres!
Yesterday I was Number 1 like and today, I was Number 100!! Lol! Great content and information. I don’t know what I’d do with out those air tools! They sure make things a lot easier!! It’s balmy today Al so get out and enjoy!!!
another fabulous TOOL TIME video on Air Nail Guns and Air Compressors Homestead Tool Must Haves !! very interesting, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience
Hey, those are the same ones we picked up right before Christmas! Thanks for the tutorial!! I can't wait to use them to build my very first chicken coop, and who knows what else we'll get into with them!
Lumnah Acres I bet you're right! And thanks to you, I have a *much* better idea of what I'm doing! I'm really enjoying your channel. Thanks for doing what you do. It's fantastic.
You're certainly nailing these tool videos and there was a nice air to the delivery of this one! :P I've used compressors for air brushing, but not these types of tools. I know it varies, as you mentioned, but any rough idea of the psi ranges you usually need for the regulator and how many brad or finish nail firings before the compressor kicks on?
It sounds like they run at a lot higher psi than what's required for air brushing then, which isn't too surprising I guess. I'd get about 20 minutes use out of a full tank before my compressor would kick on - usually right in the middle of me filming an important bit of a video, as I've seen happen to you with yours as well. :P Yup, I saw that my shirt's on the way, which I'm rather excited about, thank you! I plan on framing mine and hanging it on the wall... :)
Hello! I loved this episode! I have a question. If a person was to get one or the other which is better. A brad or the finishing nail gun, if we had to choose one first financially.
have a Bostitch 3/8" crown stapler, but I can't find staples for it. I'm considering investing in a Porter Cable 1/4" crown stapler since the staples seem to be readily available. But I'm wondering what would be the the difference in ideal uses for each size of pneumatic staple gun?
yes we have the same combination of tools. My compressor recently through its baring's. And Its barely been used. Built one sheep shed and then it crashed. Though barely used in the years previous, having a hard time trying to find the baring's that fell out, any suggestions?
Hubby says hammer stable guns are not for regular use. When I was building my crappy coop it would have made things way easier. Is it for big jobs or not?
Thanks for sharing! My husband has the air tank, so I'm thinking of getting him an air gun for his birthday, any suggestions on one would that would be good for a beginner?
Lumnah Acres just a storage shed for our hay. By the way he has started watching your channel, but keep in mind , he is 71- we are planning on making raised garden beds this year, because they would be easier for us bending over so much!
Hi Al, I just had a quick question on my finish nailer. Sometimes I notice my gun shoots blanks, messing up my trim for no reason. Why does that happen? I will have a full rack of nails but still it does not feed properly. Is it recommended to oil the track the nails slide in? It is a new Bosch nailer, but ever since I have had it I have had this problem.
I can't understand why anyone would paint wood, except maybe a house. I love wood and all the nail or screw holes. I love all the knots in the wood. I like to put stain or clear varnish on wood. It brings out the grain.
Hi..... AL great nice to see you I love your video, thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👨👩👧👸👕👓🐩🐔🐓🐥🐕🐖🐈🐐🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍

You can add tanks later for the volume as long as the compressor has the CFM's.
Thanks Al! Looking forward to the next one.
You made it to 18,000 on my way to this video! Congratulations!
Hubby said that you can put a dab of glue in the holes before you sand and the sanding dust will fill the holes for you.
I like that tip! Thank your husband for me
that IS a great tip , thank him for me too !
Great video about nail guns. Greetings from Andreas on Off Grid Sweden

Off the top of my head 90 psi not sure on the nail rate. Your shirt has shipped! :)
