You missed out. As a kid, it was like going to Disneyland as your pocket full of quarters promised an amazing time. You'd have the new fighting game that everyone would flock to and put their quarter on the rail stating it was their turn next. You'd walk by the trusty pinball games that would light up with sounds and pings. You'd see the relics of the older games light space invaders, pac man, or dig doug. You would probably end up with the fighting coop games like TMNT or Simpsons where some random would walk up beside you and be your ally for a little bit until one of you ran out of enjoyment or quarters. It was bliss.

It makes me so sad when I think of this time. I am grasping desperately at falling sand trying to recapture some of the past. I have a board game collection of like 50 games. But no one ever comes. They just sit on my shelf reminding me what was and what could have been had things been different. Friends i never had. Laughter I never shared.
I hope you can escape your sadness and the past is beautiful but don't be sad because it's over and moreover, I hope you have good friends and go out with all the joy out there, my friend

Opinions about the "best" or "worst" periods of human history can vary widely, and perspectives often depend on individual experiences, cultural influences, and personal preferences. The 80s and 90s are indeed remembered fondly by many for various cultural, musical, and technological developments. However, it's essential to recognize that each era has its unique aspects, both positive and challenging 😉
The music in this video is absolutely fantastic, perfectly capturing the mood and enhancing the overall experience. *GLORIOUS 80s!!!* Indeed, the FIRST decade that enjoyed the widespread start of consumer tech. BUT was still early enough that most things people needed to do, work for, sweat for and enjoy --- were still very "analog" and simple. *Like for example using the rotary phone and calling your crush (and hope no one eavesdrops on the shared line) then strategically sending hand-written perfume-infused love letters via snail mail and hoping the postman (or a suspicious father) won't intercept and open it before your crush could.*
The 80s were indeed a remarkable time, blending the analog simplicity of the past with the exciting emergence of consumer technology. It was a decade of transition, where rotary phones coexisted with the beginnings of personal computers and early gaming consoles. The nostalgia of handwritten letters and the anticipation of waiting for a response in the mail, infused with the scent of perfume, evoke a sense of romanticism that's uniquely 80s. It's fascinating how technology has evolved since then, shaping the way we communicate, work, and interact with the world around us. Yet, there's a charm in looking back at simpler times and appreciating the analog experiences that defined an era. Thank you for sharing your reflections on the 80s! If you have any more fond memories or if there's anything else you'd like to discuss, feel free to share. Let's keep the conversation going! 📟💌🎶

Thank you, although at that time you were too young to enjoy a lot of 80's spice and didn't dance at clubs yet, but I didn't even have the chance to see it with my own eyes, but we were very lucky to see it anyway. can look back at the memories
This mix is absolutely fantastic! From the seamless transitions between tracks to the carefully curated selection of songs, every aspect of it is simply outstanding.
Thank you!
this is giving me life
Thank you for that great happiness is seeing you guys here and supporting me
I've never been to an arcade in my life, but I still love this great music
It's wonderful to hear that you still love the music even if you haven't been to an arcade! The nostalgic and energetic vibes of arcade music can resonate with people regardless of their arcade experiences. Happy listening! 🎶😊🕹
Great memories!
"1 step back, 2 steps forward. Let’s climb the mountain, let’s dominate. Violence, speed, and momentum and guess what? We’re at the tippity top of the mountain...but we’re really only half way up."
A truly admirable saying for one step back, two steps forward
Right out of the gate and it smashes. Amazing.
I'm thrilled to hear that the content made a strong impression right from the start and left you with a positive experience! Happy listening! 🎶😊
most of the synthwave playlists contain one or two good songs while the other songs are bland and repetitive
but man the entirety of your playlist is fire
(thanks for your good taste)
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the synthwave playlist. Curating a diverse and engaging selection of music is always a priority, so I'm glad to hear that it resonated with you 🔥

Я родился в 1998году, т.е. не застал 80е и вообще я не американец, а русский.
Но, тема неона и музыки 80х годов очень интересна
It's amazing and in my mind I'm younger than you but I used to see these images and sounds when I was little and loved it.
В России, и вообще - на пост-советском пространстве - такая музыка до сих пор очень популярна.
And that's great.

Don't forget the cigarette smoke that wafted in from the bowling alley as you passed the cigarette vending machine on the way in.

I wish arcades with the coin based were popular again, like more popular than card based ones like Dave & Buster's!!
I just want it back to the way it was
I think it could be, but when the government tries to fear mongering coin shortages and replacing parts for the machines... it's too difficult.
I don't think coin production is difficult
@@NostalgicSynthwave Probably not
So sad
i love these songs! i use this as backround music when i play minecraft and ive went through this whole video about 4 times it was worth every minute!
Thank you so much! 😊 It means a lot to know you're enjoying the music while playing Minecraft-sounds like the perfect combo! Wishing you many more peaceful and creative gaming sessions! 🎮✨
I need to stock up on quarters for the arcade
Try your best, my friend!
Magic times!
That's right
Yup I’m definitely blasting this while playing gta 6 with my classic muscle car!. I’d kill to see retro gas station arcade old shcoool!.
Understand that wonderful feeling and hope that everything will really explode and explode it like the way the melodies are burning and nothing can stop it.
Fantastic mix
I'm thrilled to hear that you find the mix fantastic! Thanks for the positive feedback, and happy listening! 🎶😊👍
I hope you can escape your sadness and the past is beautiful but don't be sad because it's over and moreover, I hope you have good friends and go out with all the joy out there, my friend

in my opinion the best part of human history the 80s and 90s then it went downhill from 2000
Opinions about the "best" or "worst" periods of human history can vary widely, and perspectives often depend on individual experiences, cultural influences, and personal preferences. The 80s and 90s are indeed remembered fondly by many for various cultural, musical, and technological developments. However, it's essential to recognize that each era has its unique aspects, both positive and challenging 😉
@@NostalgicSynthwave Still no one can deny the fact that today's music is absolutely crap.

*GLORIOUS 80s!!!*
Indeed, the FIRST decade that enjoyed the widespread start of consumer tech.
The funny thing is that I was born in 97 but listening to this takes me magically back to those years although probably fake because it was hard there too when these songs were i.e. in 84. This is very reassuring. Keep up the workmanship of this material and keep up all those reading and have a good life
Thank you and for sure I want to spread this topic further and make it meaningful to everyone.
