This is such a good quality review! It's the only video that I could find that actually test the fall, all the others just wax poetics. I would love to see the traditional peacock as well as the jointed models (such as sprenger) too, to see the difference and if the mechanisms actually work.
I love that you tested the safety stirrups by actually "falling off" 🤣 Great review even now a few years later, although most of these are a bit out of my price range (luckily I have a pair of fairly cheap ones with toe cages that I'm happy with so far)
Best review ever! I was about to buy my first pair of stirrups and had so many questions about the difference between the Acavallo and Tech because I was wondering why they have different angles of opening. You guys gave everything by showing us with real situations! Amazing. Thank you!!
Dangerous. Look up an article in the Horse and Hound about horrific accidents caused by the hooks on Peacock safety stirrups. That's what brought me here looking for an alternative.

I'm going to come back to this video next time I lose hope in humanity. You guys really did this, and I'm here for it
best video on stirrups ever! I wish you could test Freejump Soft Up Pro as well..
Fantastic Video ...
Thank you for your work. I agree with that. Currently there is a new model on the market, Jin Stirrups Air. Similar to the Venice. I like 👍
Great review ladies ❤
STI Breakway seems to be the best but also most expensive. Would love to see a video breakdown of them.
The horse is cute but so confused haha
Thanks for your video. What kind of oil or grease is recommended for lubricating safety stirrups such as TS Venice Evo? Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the review. Is the Tech Venice you showed Flat or Sloped?
You only mention one western stirrup. Are any of the others used for western saddle?
What about the stirrups with the thick black rubber band on the side?

What about free jump stirrups??
