Then there's a few parts which are, very odd thus difficult, like those chromatic scales at 1:54 as well as the huge arpeggios during 2:16 and on. But besides that, mostly an endurance test I would say. Still, not easy at all lol. The Paganini etudes are honestly more difficult.

It is, just requires amazing skills, and extreme manipulation of the pedals.
