- Hello fellow ticket holders. Join us as we adventure to New York City to visit The New York Transit Museum. In this video we leave from Wilmington, DE via Amtrak to New York City. Once in the Big Apple we have breakfast at Brooklyn Bagels and coffee from Maman. Once fueled, we made our way via the subway to Brooklyn to visit the New York Transit Museum. In the museum we learn how the NYC subway came to be, experienced old turnstiles and saw some old trains that use to traverse the city tunnels. After the museum we had a warm ramen lunch at Okiboru House of Tsukemen, saw the Ghostbusters firehouse, had some New York pizza and checked in for the evening to our hotel. The next morning we had breakfast at Daily Provisions in the West Village and coffee at Coppola's. Finally, we made our way back to Moyniham Station to catch our Amtrak train back to Wilmington, DE.

That breakfast sammy would be a hit with me. Love that the entrance (and the museum) is a subway station. Great job covering the museum, such a cool walk through time to see all the retired train cars, buses, and turnstiles. I love that you guys keep finding Japanese eateries in the states. The museum was a lot of fun! lol, yes we cannot stop trying Japanese places around us wherever we go. The ghostbusters firehouse such a surprise being right behind our hotel. We had a great time and I had a wonderful birthday. Thanks for watching 😀 -Chad

The museum looks so cool and seems VERY New York haha! I would totally nerd out there myself. The ramen place looks yummy as heck. And oh my god… I had no idea that the Ghostbusters firehouse was an actual place!!! I always assumed it was just a studio set lol.
Thank you. We miss the trains from Japan so much, so I really wanted to do the train stuff for my birthday. The museum was great and worth a visit when in the city. The food was amazing too. Haha, how appropriate to take multiple forms of transit to get to the Transit Museum! Wise choice waiting until you got into the city to grab breakfast; you can always find some fire breakfast sandwiches in New York 😁 Why am I not surprised that the Iron Maiden turnstyle was a spiritual successor to the medieval torture device? Loved seeing all the art, so many different styles. I would for sure be playing in the bus facades, too, because I am little more than a large child myself. The ramen looked delicious, as expected…and the Ghostbusters firehouse was a nice surprise, too! Especially having _just_ seen Frozen Empire, it’s particularly nostalgic for us 🥹 Happy (Belated) Birthday, Chad!
