Yes , well you summed it up quite well. Yes i agree with you on this that DFSK got in early and didn't capture the market quite well. But in regards to Chinese tech they can make the worst to amazing quality depending upon the requirements. Now lets see how Haval & Byd do in the long run

Actually when n you're govt is weak and they've no set automotive policies then countries like China rule them for personal gains. Haval is going well but not to forget China is getting its shares. Gradually they're coming up against V8 engines and Hilux, however due to poor policies and priorities, the VW manufacturing plant is still facing issues and facing delays, however Audi has already hit its targets in the Niche market. In Islamabad, the owner of DFSK is also the owner of Tiggo showroom? Now that's shocking else this formula doesn't apply for the showroom owners of Big3, Reason being, the income at the end is going to China. When we have a stable democratic serious government with sensible people in the automobile sector, we will then taste actual essence like Germany etc.
Low fuel average is valid point but at the same time price is less also. For its price point, it's fine vehicle if you are ok with fuel average. Don't last long is not true. I have seen owners with more than 100,000 km driven and the vehicle is still going strong. Your point of interior quality is true. It's not up to the mark. Oshan, and Haval are better options but the price is also high. You may upgrade if you can afford one. After sales is not that poor as people say. I am part of Seres 3 EV WhatsApp group and there CBU owners have reported excellent after sales. One owner's charging port stopped working, the technician went to his house and replaced the port at no cost under warranty. Few other owners report very positive reviews as well.
