not nearly a master, still learning new tricks and just trying to do each job better than the last. But thanks a lot Jesse i appreciate the comment! :)
Say bro I can't do that on your level right now but you just keep inspired me to up my level until I can get to that point where you're at really appreciate you man keep them blessings coming thanks
I love the ideas you come up with Steve, best part is it always looks factory! One day I'll do my truck and hope like hell it can turn out this great. I have the same truck as your buddy Rob. Thanks for your time Steve!
Cemetery gates by pantera is possibly one of the greatest metal songs of all time. I’ve found that when Steve is working he listens to my exact RUclips playlist.
I like the way you take detail to quality on your work, you always aim to satisfy customer expectation and even beyond. keep your excellent work on fire …
Man you are the man the way your mind works and your creative mind set if you had a shop it would be sweet keep making the videos showing us your brilliance
Btw, I love how a veteran makes fiberglass look easy but with pro results. Skills, tips, hacks can be shared across this or that social media or internet forum. "Talent"....that ain't shareable. Good work Meade.
Love it. Just bought me a 2010 Escalade. After next summer going to get the jeep back into what I intended it for (4x4). Use the Cadillac for audio comps.
hey Steve tht looks good it matches with the vinyl on the top part of the door panel and I've watched the caddy all the way and I remember it will look bad azz
Your sure right. They are freakin awesome. I remember the ones he did in his Escalade turned out so nice that I would swear they came like that had I not seen the process.
I need a cosmetic do over badly. Brand new jeep grandcherokee L with the 3rd row seat. Looks good sound clean. But don't open the doors..lol" embarrassing...
Loooks great. Its crazy how good of work you do because if I seen that and never know you did that by hand I would assume it was Factory made peices. Awesome work Steve.
Aye Steve I been following you and your work for a bunch of years...... I must say your attention to detail is unmatched! SHIT MAN! Keep it comming...... 💪🏿💪🏿
Anyway we can get a list of the materials? What fiberglass resin and filler? By video time it seems to cure faster than anything I've seen before. Thanks.
Yes! We actually use our SMD SunFlash Resin to seal our SMD Fuse Holders! We use UV Lights to cure them all day long! :) Available here....wccaraudio.com/smd-products/smd-sunflash-resin-48.html Thank you!
you will love it! keep your cup and brush away from the sun and you can re-use them over and over and over....i usually put a little tin foil over the top and stash it to the side for later use.
This is awesome. I couldn’t wait I had to see more so I watched the full video. They look amazing now for the tweeter location ?!? How much would it cost to get you to do this same install on my Nissan Titan ?????
Thanks for the video. I learned a better and easier way to make door pods. I also noticed you lost a lot of weight from your first videos. Another great accomplishment for you.
actually i lost weight a few years ago but i have since gained a lot back. Hard to work out with a damaged knee. Ill be back at it soon, i am supposed to get an MRI next week. Thanks though!
Awesome work as usual Meade, just a question how do the pods attach to the door metal will you put in some stand offs or something?(just the factory speaker screw positions?)
do you use calculations for airspace requirements when creating speaker pods like these? or does it not matter? it looks like all of the speakers are sharing the same airspace.

Sweet work. I just did this to my car this afternoon. Upgraded from 6.5" to 8".
@@HellTriX nice did you notice a big difference between the 6.5s & the 8s
@@HellTriX lets see.
Man, always stellar workmanship. HELL YEAH🙌🏾
The amount of detail that he puts into his work is amazing.
I wonder how much he would sell those door pods for
I love the brush life with that resin. That combined with not needing to mix in hardener makes it worth the extra pennies.
New label art is sick too.
Simply amazing....brother steve keep blessing us with your talents...🤌
SMD is a total master of his craft. Never ceases to amaze me with his skill. Absolutely incredible.
not nearly a master, still learning new tricks and just trying to do each job better than the last. But thanks a lot Jesse i appreciate the comment! :)

Top tier as always man! Your work looks like it was designed by the Chevy engineers themselves, amazing how it all flows together...

Gee whiz Steve...wow! You are EXTREMELY talented! Those pods are freakin BADASS!!!! Damn i wish i had 1/10th of your skill.
your sunflash resin is so cool it makes fiberglassing easier for beginners, no chemical catalyst needed, the sun is your catalyst
Love it. Just bought me a 2010 Escalade. After next summer going to get the jeep back into what I intended it for (4x4). Use the Cadillac for audio comps.
Been watching this man since 2010. He’s a mastermind
Your craftsmanship is impeccable!
Damn, Steve is a perfectionist! I would give my left nut to be able to fabricate door pods half as good as these.
Absolutely beautiful Steve, as always! So freaking clean, thanks for taking us through each step of the build, I really enjoyed watching.
Dude that is bad ass I need to visit your shop and take notes , ain’t nothing like learning from the best.

Boss man killin it AGAIN!! You got Madd Skillz homie ! Love watching you build stuff
Flawless job Steve. Those look so good.
I had wondered how door pods were mounted to the panel. I never even thought of rivets. The only thing I could think of would be to glass them in.
that is because nobody else does it like me. I have never seen anyone else do rivets. Usually they use a few screws and call it done.
hey Steve tht looks good it matches with the vinyl on the top part of the door panel and I've watched the caddy all the way and I remember it will look bad azz
Best work I've ever seen always Great content thumbs-up and God bless all

@@meade916 Do you have an ETA for the AMM-1?
Are the door panels able to hold the extra weight when fastened to the door or do they need reinforcement?
not very heavy bro

Clean as hell, as always.
Nice work.........as always!
That looks dope
How much would you charge do that for the same door pods do a 2011 Yukon Denali the exactly the same
Right. Feeling like I need custom doors...🤔
is it ok for all those components to fire into eachother? Do you cut out the metal in the door to match the pod? That is beautiful work man!!
Great job looks good can't wait to hear it.
Man Steve it’s a random question but you think you can do a short video of the green chevelle you did awhile back? How that build years later?
beautiful, now how much does something like that cost? I have all the speakers already
didn't cost me hardly anything. I did it myself. You can too! :)
