Since her ability triggers when “one or more creatures deal combat damage,” it will only halve their life total once. If you were to somehow get additional combat steps, subsequent attacks on later combat steps would trigger her ability additionally, but separately.
I’m holding out for there to be a set in the next year or so where we get some better Gorgon creatures to make the deck viable for the other creature type.

Man, I've wanted a gorgon commander for as long as I can remember. It's so sad she makes you basically just use all the good snakes.
