So much in life comes down to desire. Morrison is saying persevere. He's right. If you want something, WORK hard and you'll get it. Seek and Ye Shall Find.
first comment. love your vibe. I'm starting out learning guitar and I too have short fingers. your previous video gave me a lot of encouragement and practical tips.
So. I'm a professional guitar player. Bossa nova, samba, jazz, fusion and the like. And i do consider myself as having small hands, and i'm 6 feet, which isn't particularly tall but, considering my height i do have small hands. And what you say is indeed true... People who say having short fingers or small hands doesn't make the slightest of difference is probably the most idiotic and delusional comment anyone could say about learning guitar. I have had to adapt over the years, my chord melody, and play style. People really don't have a clue... And worse than that, they give advice as if they did. Keep it up. You bring a smile to my face with each video!!
Yes ! I looked into a guitalele for this same reason. I wanted to play classical guitar but couldn’t do some of the things I wanted to but found the solution in the guitalele
Thanks from another short fingered guitar player. I also use a travel (3/4 size) guitar to play on and adding to that I recently bought a KLOS travel guitar. It is a carbon fibre guitar and it is almost indestructible. The best thing is that it does not get out of tune easily like most 3/4 wooden guitars do. And it comes with a very low (!) capo, so your fingers don’t get in the way. Another tip and then I’ll stop: the youtube guitar lessons by Marty Schwartz are in my opinion also very good and easy for us “sausage fingers” to learn various other songs. Keep up the good work and best wishes for 2021!!!
Keep up the great videos, Happy Holidays! I am learning guitar and I also have short fingers, so I am thinking of purchasing a guitar with a smaller neck. The F chord is quite a struggle still.
Thank you for making these videos. It really cheers me up and God knows we could all use some cheer nowadays. I'm a beginner who's learning to play through RUclips and I'm having trouble switching between chords and notes. You motivate me to try harder. Thank you gramps. Much love from an aspiring guitarist from India.

No eyedeer. (No idea)
