Loreal has a different version of the Zuvi coming out before the end of this year. Loreal teamed up with Zuvi and changed the design, supposed to be better than this one.

Thank you, this is the first video that addresses the smoothing out curly hair with the zuvi. I think part of the problem is that the concentrator nozzle blocks the light feature so you dont get the light benefits! One cancels out the other.
@@StylesBySummer Interesting. The whole thing seems rather dubious. Like I think if you go from a really cheap hair dryer to this maybe you'd been impressed. Their whole idea is that they're using light instead of heat to dry the hair, but it produces a lot of heat, and as far as that cuticle is concerned, heat is heat, right? Maybe your electric bill cares, but your hair doesn't. I dunno what to think at this point. I usually diffuse my hair on low heat, and I'm not sure if it's making a difference or not compared to my Rusk Speed Freak. Have you tried it on curly or wavy hair using the diffuser?
I have fine curly hair and have the Laifen hairdryer…I love it…not as hot as the Dyson, and has an auto cycle feature between cool, warm, and hot that is nice, plus is less than half the price of a Dyson.
Thank you for such an informative and honest review as I was contemplating to purchase the Zuvi but at this price point I will continue evaluate other options which would cater for all my family’s different hair needs.
Great review. My home country is in the middle if a heatvawe and i ordered it bc i can't stand the heat from the dryer i have anymore. I hope it will work for me. Otherwise i'm shipping it back.
I am experiencing what you're stating. I have curly/wavy hair. I have tried several times to blowdry my hair with just the dryer and find that my hair still feels poofy and carries waves. I have to use a flat iron to really sleek it out and get it straight. I do find my hair is sleeker/softer and less fried with the hair dryer. But it really falls short on giving me that sleek look without using another tool. I'm still on the fence whether or not i want to keep it or not. Very undecided :-/. My previous dryer was the babyliss rapido one which is great but it really does get quite hot and probably damages my hair.

Finally an honest review about Zuvi Halo. I’ve used it several times and I can’t get my fine hair to hold a style. I’m missing the heat, I suspect. I can still return it. What are you favorite hair dryers of choice? Dyson? Thank you!

Completely agree! It is a super cool idea an dryer but I don't think it's ideal for a lot of hair types!

I need the heat for smoothness and volume. I will stay with my Dyson. The SRI Dry Q with the infrared light and heat is a good dryer as well.

It's shorter than Dyson but you can order it in a longer length.
