I’m not into country but just based on her fashion choices, I knew it was going to be an emotional/love album because she’s wearing a lot of hearts. I think the album is for the people that are overly critical and refuse to accept her in the country space to reflect on why that is 🤠💅
It's refreshing to see artists go through different genres and adding their own spin to the old and I am genuinely surprised that it seems like the general public and/or executives want the same stuff. Extra frustrating as someone who did jazz band & marching band where the shows cycled through different genres throughout the season. I'm excited for this & I hope it encourages more artists to be multi-genre.

Love hearing that this is a long realised goal, Beyoncé has the vocals and emotional depth to sing country music, in my limited opinion. the first music i heard of hers that i loved had very pick me girl vibes, which makes sense because a lot of people go through that phase, so i think vulnerability and past would work super well for an album talking abt that. shes sung long ago about how shes okay with making herself look crazy for a man and going all out for him 24/7 and that if hes not there then theres nobody to look good for etc etc. so i really hope its something about her realizing how men dont define her because listening back on those songs theyre so good but they make her sound insecure, itd be cool to have something like single ladies again. maybe she has done something like that though idk what shes done recently
