Lovely, apart from the Leaper, this has no business being on a 90s Jag. £800 to remove and respray the bonnet. And the lacquer issues, this wants a few grand in paint - and that's before we've looked underneath .
They add up to a lot of money old jags ,even if it has a huge service history with ££££s spent there will always be issues . This one as you say needs paint and a headlining to start with before you even start on the underframe ,have had 6 old jags over many years ,I am afraid to say money pit . This one will easily cost £3000 to sort ,might as well pay £10.000 for a very low mileage real mint one .no such thing as a cheap Jag.
@@vivianrenault5377 Why would you need to do anything to this car, drive it as is. Mine is very tatty with pealing varnish and dull paint and 287,000 miles but it drives nice so who cares.
@@wayland7150 I understand what you mean ,you have got great value out of your car as a daily driver ,however I personally consider this one a modern classic and therefore needs money spending to get it up to the standard ,with the price of fuel. Insurance etc.you rarely see these old jags used as a daily ,more of a Sunday /show car . and he wants £6k for it .if it was still only £2k like they used to be it would make sense just to run around as is.
@@vivianrenault5377this Jag is used daily and not sat up collecting dust. Any inspection on underside is welcome and I think you’d be surprised if you saw it. It went into a jag specialist and came back with great feedback especially the underside. Please see the mot history as it’s in far better condition than most modern cars. It’s a very usable daily car and not trying to be a concourse car. Hope this helps. Thanks
The straight six 4 litre is a good choice for simplicity and reliability. Plenty fast too.
Superb!
Lovely car.
Whats it up for
À ce faire plaisir dans un monde de plus en plus restrictif et ça c'est précieux..
