Very eloquent, clean, careful, clearly articulated and enunciated interpretation. He does not rush through the phrases, but lets us hear every note in all their length. And yet, very passionately. Well done.
These Preluds are Bach with Brasilian Soul. Bravo Mr. Sanel!
Mr. Redzic takes the old and makes it new: this performance makes me feel that Villa Lobos composed these pieces just recently and Mr. Redzic is giving them their world premiere. What amazes me most is how his musical mind creates an extraordinary narrative of all the pieces he plays. I thought I was tired of hearing these preludes until I heard this.
Much excitement has been generated recently by David Russel's awesome performances on RUclips of the Bach lute suites. But have these same people watched Mr. Redzic's ongoing Bach project which I find even more compelling and musically interesting? The Slavic musicians are in a peerless class of their own, not so much for the technical mastery (this is taken for granted by now) which is pretty universal, but for a sensibility, feeling and musicianship that one simply does not find elsewhere. The sorrowful history and suffering of their countries has really produced a very unique artistic soul in their great musicians, who I consider the greatest in the world. Even in my country of Brazil, which has a very strong tradition of guitar and produced phenomenal players (just think of the Assad and Abreu Brothers, Yamandú Costa, Marcos Tardelli, Fábio Zanon, Paulo Martell, etc.), we feel that our Slavic brothers have much to teach us and refine our own natural musicality. I hope Mr. Redzic records all the Villa Lobos studies as well (the ones he has done are spellbinding) as they are the new reference performances of our age.
I've heard these Preludes "a thousand times" in more than 40 years of playing and listening to classical guitar music. Maestro Redzic plays and interprets them better than anyone. This was a wonderful performance and really made my day, Bravo and thank you!
Yes I ! Just as you say.
Very eloquent. Love the phrasing. Solid technique.
Complete mastery. Unerring touch. Another maestro has arrived.
Instant like
In Portuguese: muito Linda a sua interpretação de um Grande Compositor Brasileiro Villa-Lobos. Nada de Villa é fácil, daí seu Mérito como Intérprete. Parabéns.
The B part of Prélude 4 is the best I can remember having listened to.
Ganz großartig. Was für ein wunderschönes Weihnachtsgeschenk. Vielen lieben Dank
Very interesting piece. Beautiful performance ❤️
Maravillosa interpretación, Gracias
Yes! Downward sweep with i in B section was my final choice. Thank you for this validation. This was fun to hear. Clean spacious and expressive.
Oops, of course I meant the b section of prelude 2.
Belo concerto utilizando as canções do mestre Villa-Lobos.
Saudações Brasil.
Another superb gift from Mr. Redzik. Villa-Lobos sounds even better coming from his skilful intelligence and devotion to the most beautiful instrument. Bravo maestro!
The magical combination of some of the most beautiful music pieces written for the classical guitar by a grand composer played by a outstanding guitarist with exceptional musical sensibility who pulls out all of the nuances with mastery on a guitar with great tone by an outstanding luthier. It's just pure pleasure.
Wonderful!
Nice playing. Good interpretations. Beautiful tone. Can't tell you how glad I am to see you play on a traditional sounding guitar. Here we have a good player playing good music on a a good classical guitar producing a real tone....seems to be a lost art today. Instead so many pseudo guitarists are using those bass heavy, F# thumping double top junks. Thanks for making this video.
bravo,ponos Tuzle...nas Sanel Redzic❤🎼🎵
Such a neat left hand 🙂
Wow - Bravo!!! Such percision - I love it. I've played 'at' Prelude 1, but hardly recognizable to your talent! Thank you!!
Brilliantly played indeed!
Great display of the Préludes, Mr. Redzic! I really love your interpretations of Villa-Lobos

Top topeva 🤟
I'm learning his 3rd prelude now. Your version is wonderful. Thank you.
Magníficas interpretaciones
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
¡Viva Villa-Lobos!
Quinta-essência. 5 x Magnífico. Obrigado pela partilha.
That Villa-Lobos guy was pretty intense.
Villa Lobos was inspired by "chorinho" traditional music in Brazil since the 19 century, during the 1920s Villa Lobos composed "chorinhos" that probably influenced his preludes 2 decades later.
this musician is an excellent guitarist... he makes a really nice elegant sound ❤️👍👍👍
My god his tone at 1:45 is immaculate!!
Poštovanje Sanele dali će se 2022. Godine održati ljetna škola klasične gitare P.R.S.T na Zlači. Hvala.
Tough to name a better performance of this group of pieces. In fact, I cannot.
Saudações Brasileira 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
How you memorize all 5 preludes is beyond my understating
it's hard to find versions I "agree with" (who I am to agree or not?) but many interpretations miss the point IMO, like Marcin Dylla, which is great but I deslike his interpretations. However I find this SPOT ON, my brazilian seal of aproval Sanel. Cheers
The camera is incredible, what kind do you use?
Thank you. I use three Nikon D5300 cameras with different lenses by Nikkor and Tamron. I spend always plenty of time to setup the cams before I start to record and then I spent again plenty of time with the postproduction.
@@SanelRedzic Oh thats interesting, you use a DSLR. The camera looks so good, I thought it was a mirrorless!
Very nice but nr1 way to fast for my taste. Many guitatist play it to fast.
Wonderful!
