- 3 FOR 3? CAN METAL WAVE FROM ALLSAINTS KEEP IT GOING? My 3rd review in the series reviewing the 5 fragrances from the British fashion retailer, ALLSAINTS. Metal Wave is a unisex EDP classified as a musky/oriental. The perfumer is Gil Clavien. It was just released in September 2019.
Notes: Juniper Berry, Magnolia, Papyrus Wood

I like this one. It’s intriguing, it keeps you guessing. I like that it doesn’t project, this is like a soft aura around you. The juniper and woods are prominent to my nose (maybe because I like gin). This is in the same vein as escentric molecules and glossier you though it doesn’t quote iso E super or ambroxan in the notes.

Sounds like they were trying to go for a Pegasus style vanilla frag with the metallic vibe. Honestly, I won't buy a fragrance that only lasts 5 hours on me. I like everything to last a full work day, so 10 hour minimum for me. I've had pretty good lunch achieving that goal so far!
Yes, I think they were trying to go for that metallic Vibe but it just never came through on my skin, at least. This was my least favorite so far from AllSaints.
