I have a great idea for the smp, make hearts circular, meaning, you can only craft an amount of hearts equal to the amount of hearts lost through death that were not given to another player, this means the server has a limited heart economy and makes it far more interesting
@@greyifer that's the whole point since all player deaths the heart is given to the killer it means that you can't have more then a couple ppl with 20 hearts and you can't get insanely stucked just by grinding it forces you to pvp, it might not work for this server specifically but if you have a small server with the same gimick and players don't want to pvp its great, you can even improve it by raising the heart cap and setting a goal like first player to reach 50 hearts wins, and encourage pvp

If you raise the 20 heart cap you might have players like clown sitting at like 30 hearts, and on top of that ur taking away weaker players ability to grind new hearts, so some of them may be sitting at like 6. That won’t encourage them to pvp for new hearts bc they know they will lose, all that would do is cause them to not want to log on and lose more hearts, thus killing the server quickly
@@ThisIsWizardsHandle as I said the idea I presented in the reply might be better for a small server with the same gimick, I do agree that raising the heart cap on lifesteal smp with all the yt and such is a bad idea, but if you just have a small server with a cpl of friends almost 70% you won't have such dominant pvpers and ppl like to sit out and grind , by making heart crafting limited you therefore force those players who like to sit and grind to actively participate in pvp in order to keep up with others and if that is till not enough you could do a contest of some sorts raising the heart cap where the first player to reach the amount of hearts set as the cap is declared the in a more event like scenario
