I'm a locksmith for car keys and I bought bw100 for the shop on your recommendation a couple years back. Stuff legit works miracles. It's saved countless car key fobs, small electronics, and even an electric chainsaw. Stuff is magic in a can, worth the price!
I wish I had started doing this in my 20's vs trying to start in my 30's. The accuracy and delicate touch required only get harder to maintain with age...
Be sure to test the SL and SR buttons on the side of the detachable joy-cons! Most of time that's the problem the nintendo switches have as a lot of nintendo games do use these buttons a lot.
Iam happy you are back looking healthy and awesome you my friend are one of the best channels because your fixing videos are very calming and easy hope to see you fix a ps6
So happy your doing good man I love your videos it even got me started tinkering with my own electronics and fixing things I never thought I could your very easy for the average person to understand
Whow, can you link to or provide the name of the tool use used to extract the broken off headphone jack tip? I've had to work on devices before with similar issues and it took me much longer than that using different techniques. Super awesome tool to have!
My OLED has the same issue with the left joycon just not connecting. It only happened if I only had the tablet docked. I detatched and reattached the ribbon cable at least 2 times. Now I just keep joycons on when it's docked to keep that from happening again
Are you able to fix Xbox 360 unofficial controllers? I have an Xbox 360 controller that doesn't' have rumble motors. Adding rumble to the controller is that something you would be able to do?
You'd have to source motors and then hope that the controller you have has the correct mounts to fit said rumble motors. Far easier and cheaper to buy a controller with rumble and my charge for doing something like this would be GB£50+ because it's gonna be time consuming and difficult, even if it could be done. If you spend time getting everything apart and then find there's nothing you can do, this would cost you money because people don't (can't) work for free.

As someone who has been repairing laptops for over 20 years I can safely say you make this look easier than it is to repair small electronics.
@@Holycurative9610 with repetition it is easy. I’ve replaced the usb c port on at least 30-40 switches now. Pretty easy.

Nice job! Amazing Nintendo made something so fixable...
Appreciate what you do! I have some old game consoles and games. You've given me the confidence that I can work on them myself.
Switches get stitches!
It drives me crazy seeing items that people have returned to the store that they have obviously damaged.
It sort of drives me crazier that people have returned stuff as defective that had nothing wrong with it.

Hello Steve, where do you sell your repaired consoles?
i suggest getting hemostats for better grip on smaller things

I had a grey normal switch that was returned😊

Do you have any light switches?
Where can you buy these from you?
Is it possible to buy refurbished items somewhere?
Always fan boy ❤
Glad to see you're switching things up for this video Steve!
