I'm super stoked that Jurin actually used the term X-pop in her rap. I only heard her say it once before, during an interview, and is still the only one that I've heard use the term.
Long story short, I got really tired of people assuming they were K-pop. Or worse, knowing they were all Japanese and still calling they K-pop.
Seeing that "global hip-hop and R&B" was sticking, I started spamming X-pop in the comments.
I've been doing that for two years straight now. I still get into beefs about it, but not as much as I did in the beginning.
The fact that Jurin used it is a validation I didn't expect!👊🐺✌️

@reactwithmel it was my duty! Nah, I'm half Korean half Japanese (American), just like Simon and Hinata, but with less talent and looks. 😁 It felt a little disrespectful to all 3 of my cultures! My Korean side said yo, they aren't Korean. My Japanese side said yo, they aren't Korean. And my American side said yo, this is hip-hop and R&B, and they're singing in English!
The Asian women equals Korean-pop got old after the 100tth time.
The new one is XG is one person in the Woke Up MV. I think I watched like 3 or 4 in a row that referred to XG as she the entire video!
I understand with all the outfits and special effects, it does make it difficult. But, um, one of them did shave her hair off?!😁😇
@@jaedo6180 omggg not they’re all the same person 🤦🏽♀️this is ridiculous! Especially in the Woke Up MV they have different colored hair and the only time it’s a little difficult to tell them apart is in their wolf outfits but even then that’s just arrogance 😒I even saw a thumbnail that said “oh Asian girls who rap??” Like rap doesn’t exist anywhere besides the US
