- TIME FOR THE PARIS VLOGGG I'm so excited for you guys to see everything i did in Paris! I had such an amazing time going to aesthetic cafes, shopping, seeing the eiffle tower, and walking MILES everyday hehe. However, some things did go horribly wrong (a bartender stole my phone)... but I made the most of my time and can definitely say i LOVED experiencing paris for the first time.

Oh man I would be shaking and crying too if that happened to me at a restaurant. They didn’t have to be so cold and rude about it though. They should be able to accept all cards. I’m always afraid of something like that happening so I make sure I always have several cards and cash with me because that would probably be my luck.

Hi bailey ! I’m a french suscriber and Paris i think is one of the most opposite side of France. Because tourist love paris but french people don’t really loves paris. Plus because of the RWC 2023, we have a lot more than normal (i’m in Nice, and bartender for the Rugby World Cup) and tourist are rude too., I’m good at english (but Français are not really good at languages and don’t even try too but same way too). I have really good conversations with portugese, irish, english and japonese people in english and it’s was a pleasure.
Yep american express doesn’t work in France, even by Apple Pay. Try to have a little of money in cash for every trip outside your currency. Also Venmo is not use (or not working in France) we have Lydia (in France at least) or Lyfpay !
Some people are rude and some a really nice, it’s depend on the one and the mood. But as a frenchy, i hate paris because of the same reasons as you.
If you are in Nice, i’m gonna be happy to be a guide and show you the town ! The weather is still warm and you can swim too.

The restaurant payment problem is awful, but take some responsibility and accountability. You’re in a country where you don’t speak the language. Have cash on you or at least multiple cards

I’d be panicking too, but yes extra cash on hand, and a battery bank is always helpful. I feel like this is the privilege we have in America is that we have OUTLETS everywhere, in Europe people are always carrying a battery bank and for the life of me I swear Europe doesn’t have public phone charging outlets. Also I wouldn’t say all French people hate us, my brother and I had this one waiter WHO FREAKING WAS OBSSESSED WITH AMERICANS, he was so sweet though, hope he’s doing well 😊

Loved this vlog even though it looked like so much was happening like when you were telling that one story about the restaurant and stuff but besides that I liked this vlog you did and it looked fun and I really loved your makeup and dress at the beginning of this video so cute and nice and loved how the Eiffel Tower was lighting up and all sparkly so pretty and just love the food you got looked very good and I just loved everything about this Paris vlog🥰🥰🇫🇷🥖
Hey! I lived in paris for many years and I can tell you the best way to visit it is with someone who lives there or a local, if not you will most likely run into these issues or you'll just visit the basic and overhyped places. Totally fair your experience wasn't great, don't give up on the city tho :)

Yeah France is known for being rude. If you're American and coming to Europe I would definitely suggest going to London over Paris. You'll have a much better time and much better customer service.

I used to love traveling but after covid all the places I been to people are rude as hell
