This is a wonderful series. Congrats to the writer, director and actors. However ,Two items are troubling.1) Extremely weak detective department which was not true as per known history. Here Holkar detectives have not solved any problem related to the security yet. 2)Second, I feel that the main message from life of Ahilya and Malhar rao is not shared yet. The message being competant women should not be consider a threat but an asset to the family and nation's wellbeing. I hope these ommissions will be corrected soon. Thanks. Dr. Vijaya Bapat.

Two major repeated violations in many episodes are as follows: 1. Whenever Ahilya bends down to touch the feet of MalharRao, she uses one hand ... her right hand. In Maharashtrian tradition a respectable woman uses both hands, clasped together, to touch the feet of her elders. Only a court dancer, in the Mujra style would raise her right hand. 2. In ancient India Brahmins were teachers and preachers, and held high ranks in the Darbar as strategist and experts.... advisors to the King. They were revered as Gurus and Pundits. With some exceptions, most royals were Kshatriya. Even a King would bow to a Brahmin, especially, who 7s held superior in both knowledgeand social rank. Invariably, in almost every episode in this serial, whenever priests, pundits, experts arrive in the Court, they would greet MalharRao (or KhandeRao) by clasping their hand as Namaskar... while the King or the Prince would only nod. Noooo....the King should greet them in the same manner... Why? King's rank in that context is not above the Priest/Pundit/Guru. Don't believe me? Randomly pick any similar incident in Ramayan or Mahabharat... and you will find out for yourself the protocol ... the reverence shown by a King to the Priest or a Rishi. That is the tradition. PROTOCOL. It was simply a matter of propriety ... demonstration of mutual respect. King respecting the knowledge and social rank of the Pundit, and the latter recognizing the authority of the former.
