    Very helpful info. I’ve noticed several mills on you tube with blowers that looked like great systems, thanks for the great tutorial. Right in the process of collecting stuff I need for putting up a building.

      Auxiliary air is the key. Conventional methods require more hp due to the vacuum needed to pull the material thru. This lets the air do the work. Good luck and thanks for watching.

    Really liked your video some great tips! My question, do you saw logs that require a lot of lube? I saw predominantly Douglas Fir which has lot's of pitch which reqiures to put a bunch of water to it. I'm wondering when the sawdust is damp/wet you'd think it may hang up in the flexible hose spiral ribs. Any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks

      I have actually switched over to diesel fuel for coolant. It takes very little to keep the blade clean. Only one drop per second will do the trick.

    What type of container do you collect the dust in? Does the outlet port go right outside the building?

    • @oldbluffsawmill5235
      @oldbluffsawmill5235 2 года назад

      Yes the sawdust comes out of the building high and accumulates on the ground. Then I spread it out or customers get it.

      Not particularly but it is possible to add to business that made be taken advantage of in near by communities. So it maybe worth looking into. I would be interested in discussing it with you.
