Just wanted to share something with you: sometimes those who are no longer with us give us signs to show us they are watching over us - the dog leash you found and the dog sweaters - I think it was Pilgrim telling you he's there with you, watching over you guys 😊

Welcome back! It's so hard to lose pure love. I lost my Karmel 2 years ago now in November and my kids, adults, talked me into a new dog in January. Krypto is such a blessing! I also watched my brother's dog a few times before Krypto and that helped too. I thought it would be too hard, but it soothed my heart. Glad to see you finding ways to soothe your heart! I feel like I am honoring Karmel by giving another rescue dog a home. Hugs to you and Alex.

I'm so glad you saved the stuffed animals. So many dumpster divers pass them up. I think they hold a special place in our hearts 💕 from our childhoods. They can be donated to police and fire stations, hospitals and lots of places where they can comfort a child in a time of need. Glad to have you guys back. I know you still hurt. Losing a pet that is more than just a pet but part of the family is hard to get thru. You never get past it only beyond it. 🥺

I so happy to see you guys out and about again. I am truly sorry for your loss and the pain you are feeling. I recently went through the same thing. Just know that no matter where you are, Pilgrim is there with you. And when it's your time, he will be the first to run to you to greet you and knock you down with kisses and love. You know, my Mama always said that when you lose beloved pet it is so hard, but you also have so much love yet to give to an animal that has nobody to cuddle them. You have such a gift of love and mercy for those less fortunate, especially animals.
When you are ready, there is a dog out there just waiting for you to love them. It may happen when you least expect it. Embrace that love Kelly. We love you!!!

I got my first fur baby when I was 16 years old. Sticker magnet I lost my big boy very suddenly almost 8 years ago and I missed him. Pilgrim is part if everything. It will take time. There will be more moments that make you see and laugh than sadness. Getting on and doing things is great. You have to heal in your own way. RIP sweet zpilgrim. We miss you. I’m 60 and have loved & lost many beloved each unique pets over the years.

Hey, you two kids! It's so good to see you back. I've missed you so. And, again, I'm extremely sorry for your loss. I could tell how much you and Pilgrim loved one another. The grief gets easier as time goes by. And, you'll always have your special memories of Pilgrim.
My husband and I had a little chaweenie dog for 15 years and had to put her down. When we think about her, they're always very fond memories. Having had her made our lives even more enjoyable.
Anyway, when you are ready, you'll be able to lavish you attention on another little animal. We did, after a few years.
Again, we love ya'll. Stay happy and health. Remember Pilgrim, every day, with a grateful and happy heart.

I’m so glad to see the two of you. Grieving is a process and you will get through it. We lost our beloved dog Snooper a good while back. It was devastating. But after some time it became bearable. I’m hoping you’re both feeling a little better every day. You are wonderful pet parents that’s for sure. Pilgrim was a much loved boy and he knew it.

Kelly and Alex....so happy to see you both healing some. I know first hand about grief. I lost my son 5 mos ago. Take your time and grieve how you need too. It never goes away you just learn how to deal with it. Many prayers for you both...Pilg was definitely a super hero dog, that brought many many smiles to people around the world. kelly, your videos are special because of you shining personality and love of life that shows from the inside out~!!! pilgrim was a very special dog and loved by us all. he had such a wonderful personality and showed his love for you two in so many ways. his death has had to be a very difficult and painful loss for you. we miss him too. it was so much to watch him round the corner to come see you when you got home. i know that it will take some more time for you both to get through the mourning and grieving process. our pets teach us so much about the depth and great vastness of love as they love us unconditionally. pilgrim's love for you will always be with you and be a part of you~! what a blessing he was to you and you to him~!!!

So glad to see you and Alex again. So sorry for your loss of pilgrim. It's hard to lose a fur baby. My Memi passed 2 years ago. She was 14 years old. I have since rescued another dog. She brings joy and happiness to me (Mea). Blessings to both of you.
Our cat started talking to us and said I love you water! She still visits us even though she is gone! We were blessed with her for 21 years!
Pilgrim had a beautiful life with you filled with love, and while you can never replace a beloved pet, I hope that when you feel ready you will give a loving home to a homeless dog to honour Pilgrim's memory with something positive. He would not want you to be sad, and so many unwanted animals desperately need someone like you guys. X

Continue prayers for you and Alex! I know it’s hard but just know you guys have a huge community that’s here for you day or night.. I pray each day gets a little easier, he was a special dog and he was so well loved.. My husband and I have a Rottweiler and he’s going on 10yrs old and their life expectancy is around 8-9 yrs old. He still acts like a puppy at times.. I know when the day comes I know I will be a hot mess, he’s been the best Rottweiler we’ve ever owned. His temperament is so sweet, laid back but on the flip side of that he protects me when my husband is out of town working..
Glad you are back. My dog, Riley, left in 2005 and visits my dreams often to 'show me the path'. Sometimes he 'visits' in life, too. Like one time I was at a patio restaurant enjoying some free live music, when a small boy ran right up to me and said, "Hi! My name is Riley!!' and then ran off to play.
