If you haven't tried the Aldi dupe for Girl Scout tagalongs (chocolate covered p.n. butter cookie), give them a try. They are better than original GS brand. And, only $1.99 vs. $5.
We don't need all the calories Steve or even to take a pic. It's a taste test!!! So your support the girl scouts during the sale. Later buy the Benton or Keppler cookies
I'm a Girl Scout mom. My daughter is a Junior GS. We are Cookie selling right now, so I'm choosing the GS cookies. 💚 we have the new Adventurefuls cookies this season.
Oh dear peg I don't believe I've seen your son Andy but he looks very much like you that was a great review on cookies I've never tried either kind but they sound great made me hungry God bless take care
I specifically love the Aldi cookies because they aren’t too terribly sweet and you can taste more of the coconut in my opinion! And you can’t beat the price tag!
Price is a factor for me. Check and see how much the girls actually get per box of cookies sold - you might be surprised! Also Aldi does a knockoff of the chocolate covered peanut cookie that is delicious also.
I agree that the price of Girl Scout cookies have really increased but it also helps the Girl Scout organization and it helps a little Girl Scouts directly themselves to teaching them. So why not buy at least one box of Girl Scout cookies a year. It’s worth it if you ever been a Girl Scout when you were growing up you’ll know what it means to have somebody say they will buy one of your box cookies.
I feel the same way about the Aldi coconut cookies. There is also a mint cookie at Dollar Tree that is just like the Girl Scout Thin Mints. I can't tell a difference.
Of course you know that buying Girl Scout cookies teaches a Girl Scout a little bit about buying and selling items and it’s also good for the Girl Scout corporation I was a Girl Scout way back in the 50s and hopefully they will still be going strong in another 50 years. It’s always good to help support the Girl Scouts. And after Girl Scout season then go buy the other brands in the store. FYI. Maybe you didn’t mention this because you didn’t have any girls that were Girl Scouts but it definitely teaches the Girl Scouts great techniques. And it’s a good organization.
You did a good test of the cookies but you didn’t tell us what the price of the cookies were for the Girl Scouts compared to the Aldi cookies? I know with the Girl Scout cookies you’re giving part of the money to the Girl Scouts. But sometimes money is the main thing when buying cookies after flavor of course
yes you can buy a box of the girl scout cookies and support them but there not always here. So if you want a close one of the cookies you can always get them at Aldi's
Thanks guys! Great video! Hi Peg! Hope you're doing well! God bless!

Girl scout cookies are around $5/box. Aldi cookies are around $1.50/package. I think the Aldi cookies taste better too.
I agree Benton is very good and more to a container and less expensive
I like the Aldi version of any cookie and the price is great. Thanks to you and Andy for doing the taste test though. Have a Blessed day.

Great information
Walmart's Great Value brand also does some Girl Scout knockoff cookies, though I haven't tried them yet. Hope you're staying safe and warm!
I agree with you guys Aldi cookies 🍪 are just as good & tasty as name brands

Should have done a blind test

yes Aldi's cookies price are a lot cheaper so if you have family I say Aldi's winner . If your on a budget.
It’s not the cost of what the Girl Scouts get it’s the experience of what teaches the Girl Scouts to do.

Thanks for testing these cookies for us Girl scouts wins 🏆

Great video!!!
You should try Keebler mint "Whoopsy's"!! Incredible!!
Of course the difference in price is huge!
The aldi peanut butter patties taste like the girl scout ones
I love Aldi's cookies.
Your son handsome
But the price is the huge difference!
You should do a taste test with the thin mints
Great value are better
What is the price difference on the cookies?
Girl Scout cookies are usually $5 box. Aldi are $1.29-1.99 pkg.
Girl Scout cookies have gone up to $5.00 a box. Alittle too pricey for me.
Girl Scout cookies are about 5 dollars and Aldi's anywhere from 1.35 to 2 dollars a package,
What about the prices???
There is also Coconut at Kroger with there brand
what about the peanut butter ones and the mint ones
I bought the GS lemon ones today. Not as sweet as last year. You can tell they reduced the sugar in it.

Dont forget your quarter
Meijer used to have cookies just like thin mint and tagalong.
Who eats just two cookies?
