Awesome content brother!! I know this video is a few years old, but I just bought this exact bike about a year ago… just now getting to the point where I have time to work on it. These videos have definitely inspired me to get her on the road again! Thanks for the content brother! Good stuff!!!
Great video! It’s a lot easier to remove the rear wheel with the axle, spacers, and tension adjusters all together. Just loosen the axle nut and back out the tension adjusters enough to kick the wheel forward and off the chain. Then remove the rear axle slot ends and slide the wheel/axle/spacers/adjusters out the back.
Thanks for this great series on the gpz550. I reconditioned a slightly abused one that I picked-up cheap back when I was about 19, in the mid 80s. I treasured & really loved that bike. It had the the much less seen factory gold paint job when I got it, but I redid it in Kawasaki green.
I just picked up a 1983 GPz550 today and found your videos very informative. Where did you buy the parts you needed for the project? Keep up the good work.
Do you mean for the entire video, or was there a certain scene which you were having trouble seeing things? I know there was some montage which intentionally started out of focus at the beginning. Is that what you mean?
