Uganda needs a new constitutional dispensation, something that cannot be achieved with the current regime. We appreciate His excellency Yoweri for the roles he has played in bringing the Uganda back on course but as the adage goes, a good dancer ought to know when to exit the stage. The time is now in my considered view. In terms of constitutionalism, we are like 20 years ahead of Uganda as in you are where we were when Moi existed Kenyan politics. Court martial officers have the notion that the Updf Act is the supreme law in the land. This is a travesty of justice and having been to a constitutional law class, the constitution is the Supreme law of the land and any law or legislation inconsistent with any provision of the constitution is invalid to the extent of inconsistency
YES the Judiciary is Complicit. The Judiciary is not pushing hard enough ONLY to the degree that the Supreme Court has not Affirmed (or otherwise), the Decision of the Constitutional Court- since August 2021, "the Judiciary" (read Supreme Court Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo), could have, but has not HEARD the Appeal of the Constitutional Court's Ruling by Attorney General. So, YES, if sitting on an Appeal of enormous Public Interest constitutes not pushing enough or being complicit, it probably is.
Namanya , there's time for everything, the scripture talks about it . UPC had its weaknesses but in the 80s , Ugandans had the previlage to do businesses , have money send their children to king's college budo , namilyango etc etc, now it's the namanyas of this world who can do so .NRM will one day be history
When I hear these UPC guys complaining sometimes I just want to go under the bed , Please we are waiting for U P C to come back...... , ...... , This guy with eye glasses all the time talking nonsense.
Nothing's happening right now that didn't happen during your so-called UPC time. Maybe it didn't happen to your tribe......just remember that Museveni is Obote's student
