My best friend once told me a very graphic story about when he was addicted to meth. A friend and his brother were some guys he regularly used meth with, or maybe bought from. He was at their house one day using meth and their mother had a breakdown. She kept threatening to kill herself and the brothers kept shaking it off and arguing with her, basically encouraging it. They kept smoking meth and somehow my friend walked out onto their patio where he found their mother hanging from her neck. He freaked out called the ambulance while trying to lift her yelling for the brothers. They came in laughing and telling him to let her go, if she wants to die let her die. Cussing calling her a stupid bitch and spitting on her while she died. He left after that. That's what I recall. The visual way my friend describes it with passion and regret is one of the saddest and most revealing stories I've ever heard.
