I've got a set on my 13 Legacy 3.6R with stock springs and man what a difference they made, too bad they don't make them for the 5th gen Legacy anymore!
So I heard good with a lowering spring but what about with a 1-2in raising king spring? Also, why have the WRX ones been out of stock everywhere for months? Haven't been able to drive my Subaru for months waiting on these, dont want to have to settle and buy stock ones.
The lift springs are actually getting quite a bit more popular, and obviously they will hurt handling, but you do get a bit more performance off road for sure. And these struts should be coming back in stock very soon as well. Normally we keep them on hand but looks like there was a mixup in shipping, but that should be solved quickly. Thanks, Rick
Would these pair well with Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs? I have them currently on my 2016 WRX with OEM struts and the ride is a little harsh. I was tempted to buy coilovers but since I already have the Eibach springs and the nice daily drive sort of ride I'm looking for may be achieved with these added over my OEM struts. Any thoughts?
Yeah actually these would work quite well with the Eibachs. The ride overall will be improved, but will still be slightly harsher than stock suspension would be of course. I personally think it would be a killer setup! Thanks, Rick
Thank you! I was torn on going with this setup or going the coil over route. My girlfriend whines all the time every time I hit a speed bump or pot hole ever so slightly so hopefully these will help. Will rally sport get them back in stock soon?
My 07 STi with 62k miles needs new suspension. I was told Bilstein with RCE yellows are the most comfortable ride, is coming this accurate, is there something better available besides the air lift, seems too complex for reliability?
I have this setup. It was amazing...at first. They have started to sag though after 3 years and only 10k miles. They are horribly rough now. I need to take them off and see if they can be adjusted height-wise.
