Am I the only one who recently watched all the music videos of INFINITE to get ready for their comeback in May ? TOO excited and kinda dissapointed because my 3 favourite groups are coming back (INFINITE,BB and BTS) BE READY INSPIRIT.forever with INFINITE.
At first, I didn't quite understand why there are people being so crazy about K-POP. INFINITE is one of the first groups I looked up and I have to say that if there are people totally crazy about them, I can totally understand them. This group is not about looks, but about pure talent. I watched many videos of their performances and I find these guys really awesome. Each member has a unique voice color and can sing/rap and dance really splendidly, their outfits and hairstyles are always interesting and cool. And their choreographers and music composers must be geniuses. No matter whether I listen to them or watch them, I can't get bored. I feel like this is how pop should be done.
Many Kpop groups like to follow American trend. Tbh I hate it! There're some American singers/bands whom I have high regard for. But a lot of American singers are crap, specifically main stream hip hop! I found Infinite is so different from the main stream Kpop which basically is a copycat of American crap. I so agree with your observation. I followed some other Kpop groups. But none of them have got my full appreciation of all of their songs. Infinite is different! They have kinda music color that is not so generic but consistent with unique style throughout all their albums and singles. It's like when ppl think of Bach in classical music, the unique baroque style pops up in ppl's mind that nobody will get Bach mixed up with Beethoven. Infinite is like that. When we fans think of Infinite, there's unique color painted throughout their music and dances and that distinguishes them greatly from other groups.
I also second your assertion that their choreographers and music composers must be geniuses, specifically music composers. I know nothing much about dancing technically. But speaking of music, I have a lot to say, not just two cents. Infinite composers/music producers must have profound knowledge in classical music and contemporary music as well so that they incorporate classical elements into pop music so skillfully that it turns out very classy but still lively without losing contemporary vibe. These musicians are truly talented.
Amen to that. Their great personality and unbelievably good looks are just a plus. I personally don't think any other kpop group can beat their dancing skills or perfectly harmonized vocals.

I know Infinite's popular in Korea, but they don't get nearly as much recognition as they should be. I'm so happy whenever I see a new Inspirit. I was also very happy to see Infinite get an award in Mama. I'm trying to get people to like Infinite, but it's hard cause none of my friends are really into kpop.
They are not internationally famous because Woollim is not a big company comparing to SM or YG, and Infinite's music is not in a common and catchy genre like other groups, which suits the taste of almost everyone. But that's what makes Infinite different, or should I say unique! I believe their popularity will last for really really long time ^^

yes, I used to like some other Kpop groups who are more popular internationally, but I can't help their music, so boring and mainstream. But things are different when I got to know Infinite, I guess their music is really my taste. I heard people say that once engaged in Infinite's music, we can't find a way to get out, so true LOL
linh phuong Yes! Destiny was actually my first ever Infinite song and I fell in love with the different voices coming so harmoniously. I feel like this group was made to make these beautiful harmonies which I still haven't found in other groups. It just adds to the fact that they're all so funny on varieties. Those words couldn't be more true. Infinite is a black hole (not in a bad way). Once you're in, you can't get out. Even if people aren't into Infinite, no one complains about their lives which are 99.9% perfect.
Sometimes I feel sad because other groups can easily surpass tens of millions viewers meanwhile we have to try hard to make this mv reaches 10 million viewers. But i'ts okay, as long as Inspirits always love Infinite. We are all know Infinite is really really good...Fighting !!
I know right >_> they're popular in Korea but not internationally. And we all know that Korea has their own streaming sites that's why the views here are low :(
Hey Infinite leader, cheer up! It's ok. Soon ppl will find real gem as we did. I followed those famous groups under big 3 for several months because that's what's most visible on youtube. You know ppl are curious about Kpop and then they would just check out MVs under big 3 first. But those groups....mehhhh.....marketing hype! Now I don't pay dang attention to them...I'd never be interested in purchasing their products either....Not my type!

Infinite has their own unique style which is perfect and nobody knows them cause all the people looking only in bts and exo (I'm army and exol too) but I don't look only them cause there groups who deserve more attention
can I add some info? as i know, their visual (L) was known as the best among boygroups that time, their maindancer (Hoya) was known as ‘dancing machine’, their duo mainvoc (Sunggyu & Woohyun) were the best and one of them (Woohyun) has the sweetest voice til now (nobody beats him) I guess, even the rapper line (Hoya & Dongwoo) has an ability to sing pretty well..
familiarity is what makes songs popular (i read this in a book but i forgot which one. very fuzzy memory). sometimes that also means that more popular songs are mediocre. i mean just look at mumble rap. but then again music is a matter of taste
in my opinion i think Infinite is the symbol of kpop group ever. even kpop have all best group and rookie group at the year but Infinite is the main power of kpop. Bcause infinite have lead color of kpop music. Just look how different characteristic way of all their song. Im proud too be an their fan.

Just comeback after watching KBS, SBS, and MBC end-of-the-year shows...The remix were awesome but I love the original :D And reading all of the articles on how the boys were treated badly really hurt me. They shine so bright in 2013 and will be better in 2014 but still, those TV stations still prefer the big company's idols.... They're not rookie anymore, they are global stars now. +Magda Shiriane People who say that Myungsoo can't sing are still living in 2010, in Infinite's rookie days. Myungsoo sings so well now that people are calling him, Hoya and Dongwoo the lead vocals of the group (cuz Infinite doesn't have any lead vocals- just 2 main vocals).
I came over here to listen to all of Infinite's MVs because of Hi School: Love on. I can't believe I was so left out. Infinite's members are extremely talented and attractive. I knew L since he's very famous but I love Woohyun. his acting and his vocals, damn, masterpiece. I AM NOW AN INSPIRIT.

INFINITE won World Wide Dance Performance and Best Male Group. So what? I love EXO, I really do but some people just have to realize that INFINITE didn't debut with a bunch of fans rooting for them like how EXO did. INFINITE had to gain the fans by producing song by song and make new dances each time. Doing that is hard and for three years straight they are funally getting notice for their awesome talent so let them have the shine and stop bashing on the boys. Can I just say how much I truly love the Infinite fandom and being part of it? I'm a relatively new inspirit, I started listening to them awhile after their "last Romeo" comeback, but I'm watching their shows and learning a lot about all of them and such. But seriously~ everyone is soooo nice! I read the comments on here and on other sites and I love how older inspirits are so welcoming to the new inspirits, and it really makes me so happy to get to bond with all of you other fans over these 7 incredible men and their music. I remember listening to Destiny in 2013, not long after I began as a K-Pop fan. I just knew from the start these guys were going to be my No.1. Only a few months later I went to their concert in London and that day has always been the best day of my life. 2 years has past and I'm still a hard core Inspirit. I've went through some dark times with my emotions and I still struggle till this day, but I've always felt that Infinite has always been by my side supporting me and I'll always forever be in their debt. It's my dream to study Korean at university and go to Korea in the future, I really hope that I'll one day get the chance to meet them in person and thank them for being such wonderful people~

They are the true singer. They are not just an ordinary idol that seek for some fame in this world . They shine n colour the world of empty. Ive found their true talents and their ability to entertain those who are deaf and blind like me in the past.. Infinite deserve more. Im glad to be in this fandom.
In every Infinite's mv, there is comments like 'Omg I can't believe I saw them', 'I'm so excited cause i'm gonna meet them today' or 'They were really amazing, i miss them already'. I'm really happy that so many Inspirits got to see their idols. And thank you Infinite for giving us a chance to make our dreams come true. My love for infinite (also Inspirits) will go a long way, I am sure of that. I will always admire their hardwork and talent ever since their trainee days, how they worked their ass off and gain (not inherit) fans, not sleep just to practice, not go home just to train, and live in a run-down house under mortgage just to survive. Woollim and Infinite along with Nell, will always be my definition of "From nothing into something". Small agency, no budget, no dorm, no proper practice room, Epik High has to train them and teach them but then suddenly got into a scandal that they had to leave so as not to affect Infinite's debut and the agency's image, appear on shows no matter how small it is, comeback after comebacks, CEO sold his house due to budget problems, then comes Be Mine era when they were at the verge of disbanding if they do not win. Up till now, they are the most humble group ive encountered. This is why they deserve every love and appreciation of Inspirits. I cannot consder myself Inspirit bcos I was not there when they debuted. Can I join u guys? Haha. Thank you Infinite for your wonderful music! :)

I think there's no need to prove or what because I strongly believe #INFINITE in their times are well love and very popular too. Im not really about the views.We just came to a point where the amount of views matter. In #INFINITE era they had small views but they slay left and right and most specially they were very popular in their country. There's no need to be like label of BTS and etc.
So back in 2013, I saw them perform on MAMA and I thought: these guys are so cool, I will like them starting from now on. Then I forgot about it. But now, for the last 3 days, I've been watching only Infinite's shows or performances. I'm so immersed. I don't consider myself an Inspirit, but I do like them and I will stay as a fan. I bias Sunggyu a bit since he brought me to Infinite the second time through The Genius.

Thai Khanh Linh Lol yes, the members are so playful they like to tease him a lot XD but it's only for the show of course, they love him and respect him so much :) this is what I've come to know during the 3 yrs that I've loved infinite. And yes I consider him a very cool and firm leader. I recommend you watch "infinite sesame player" you will then witness how infinite rose from being unknown to the one of the best kpop groups thanks to their hard work and their amazing leader :)

i hateu snakeu that's american mvs. Its different. The only korean artist ever to get 2 billion is PSY. And the highest view for a kpop grp is only 200+million, which is bigbang's fantastic baby. So infinite won't ever get 300million, but they do deserve to get more.
Indeed Infinite is the best. Well, Infinite was the first kpop group shoot an MV in Universal studio. Also, this is the most expensive MV of the group so far.

I wasn't really into Infinite before but when they came to London, there were quite a few tickets left over so the night before the concert I bought one as I decided I was going to properly check out Infinite and see what they're like. So, I downloaded a few title songs of their's that night to listen on the way to the concert and tried to learn their names so I wasn't a complete clueless person throughout the whole thing, but I swear when I came out the venue after the concert I was like full on Inspirit as if i'd just discovered a new aspect to life, their concert was one of the best concerts I've been to since their live performances were just SO FABULOUS. ;A; And Sungjong was such an adorable fudge I just fell in love with him >
Lesson learned. Before, whenever i missed their MV i just watched my downloaded videos. Now, i always go here (woollimen't channel) to watch all theor mv's and other woolliment artist's to increase the views. Let's do this all together Woollim stans :)
This is one group where all members know how to sing, dance and look amazing all at same time and the rappers know how to rap properly so they are not just shouting in deep loud voice and can’t really work out what they are saying. I have to say, I'm a VIP who doesn't really care much for the rookie groups. So when I first saw these group of guys at the MAMA awards red carpet event the other day, I was like, who the hell are they? compared to EXO (n the only reason i noe they are EXO was frm the sheer no. of their members...), these group of boys certainly looked less appealing. so it wasn't until their performance stage that I realise that they are Infinite. and i am so impressed with their songs!! so impressed that i'm having Destiny on repeat all day right now. Good song >>>>>>> Good looks!! altho the one named Hoya and L caught my eye...but still, i'm glad i'm got to know them because of their songs, rather than their looks!!
People are missing a lot of things if they ignore Infinite! I used to be a vip too. but Infinite stole my love away! But still I love big bang. It's just that I don't really follow their activities anymore as much as I do with Infinite.

It's impossible not to! I didn't become a Inspirit until fairly recently, but even before then I couldn't just watch one mv! And after the mvs I always ended up at marathoning through their performance versions as well!

Everyone keeps asking about Version A of this. I'm pretty sure you can find it if you Google it (I watched it). Destiny Version A wasn't released b/c it was at an airplane graveyard (where they get rid of old airplanes; kind of like a car scrap yard). At that time, the Asiana plane crash happened. So out of respect, Woollim removed the parts filmed at the airplane graveyard (which became known as Version B). The same thing happened with Last Romeo. The original version with L as the lead had to do with being on a ship/sinking/being underwater, but the Sewol tragedy happened. So out of respect, they changed the setting to a library. This is why I love Woollim; they have so much respect for others. Not to mention that they still kicked ass with Destiny and Last Romeo even though they had to make major last minute changes. Super hyped for all the Infinite comebacks XD
+aaSiriusly Tardis And last time i remembered i suddenly searched for the plane graveyard after i saw their bts for Destiny MV..such a real hardwork....and doing it again..must have costs a lot....but Woolim was so considerate...back then,i don't even know Asiana was a korean flight....but.hihi.honestly..both for Destiny and LR...i like the original MV better....Both are good...just that my preference more on the original..but it doesn't matter anyway...i still watched both of it =).

I discovered INFINITE because of their "BTD" MV and though"man, those boy can dance" LOL ^^after I started to look more into them and with everything I heard about them, I grew to love them even more. I'm so proud of INFINITE because they did not start from a "famous" company and had to work really hard to get to where they're now and that make me love them even more

Phuong Le Woohoo very similar experience to how I fell for INFINITE. But the first MV that drew me in was Be Mine. Before then, I actually had a quick glimpse of these guys on Samsung Galaxy commercial but had no idea who they were. INFINITE is one of the first groups I looked up and I have to say that if there are people totally crazy about them, I can totally understand them. This group is not about looks, but about pure talent. I watched many videos of their performances and I find these guys really awesome. Each member has a unique voice color and can sing/rap and dance really splendidly, their outfits and hairstyles are always interesting and cool. And their choreographers and music composers must be geniuses. No matter whether I listen to them or watch them, I can't get bored. I feel like this is how pop should be done.

Many Kpop groups like to follow American trend. Tbh I hate it! There're some American singers/bands whom I have high regard for. But a lot of American singers are crap, specifically main stream hip hop! I found Infinite is so different from the main stream Kpop which basically is a copycat of American crap. I so agree with your observation. I followed some other Kpop groups. But none of them have got my full appreciation of all of their songs. Infinite is different! They have kinda music color that is not so generic but consistent with unique style throughout all their albums and singles. It's like when ppl think of Bach in classical music, the unique baroque style pops up in ppl's mind that nobody will get Bach mixed up with Beethoven. Infinite is like that. When we fans think of Infinite, there's unique color painted throughout their music and dances and that distinguishes them greatly from other groups.
I also second your assertion that their choreographers and music composers must be geniuses, specifically music composers. I know nothing much about dancing technically. But speaking of music, I have a lot to say, not just two cents. Infinite composers/music producers must have profound knowledge in classical music and contemporary music as well so that they incorporate classical elements into pop music so skillfully that it turns out very classy but still lively without losing contemporary vibe. These musicians are truly talented.

I know Infinite's popular in Korea, but they don't get nearly as much recognition as they should be. I'm so happy whenever I see a new Inspirit. I was also very happy to see Infinite get an award in Mama. I'm trying to get people to like Infinite, but it's hard cause none of my friends are really into kpop.
They are not internationally famous because Woollim is not a big company comparing to SM or YG, and Infinite's music is not in a common and catchy genre like other groups, which suits the taste of almost everyone. But that's what makes Infinite different, or should I say unique! I believe their popularity will last for really really long time ^^

But things are different when I got to know Infinite, I guess their music is really my taste. I heard people say that once engaged in Infinite's music, we can't find a way to get out, so true LOL
linh phuong Yes! Destiny was actually my first ever Infinite song and I fell in love with the different voices coming so harmoniously. I feel like this group was made to make these beautiful harmonies which I still haven't found in other groups. It just adds to the fact that they're all so funny on varieties. Those words couldn't be more true. Infinite is a black hole (not in a bad way). Once you're in, you can't get out. Even if people aren't into Infinite, no one complains about their lives which are 99.9% perfect.

familiarity is what makes songs popular (i read this in a book but i forgot which one. very fuzzy memory). sometimes that also means that more popular songs are mediocre. i mean just look at mumble rap. but then again music is a matter of taste

Can I just say how much I truly love the Infinite fandom and being part of it? I remember listening to Destiny in 2013, not long after I began as a K-Pop fan. I just knew from the start these guys were going to be my No.1. Only a few months later I went to their concert in London and that day has always been the best day of my life. 2 years has past and I'm still a hard core Inspirit. I've went through some dark times with my emotions and I still struggle till this day, but I've always felt that Infinite has always been by my side supporting me and I'll always forever be in their debt.
It's my dream to study Korean at university and go to Korea in the future, I really hope that I'll one day get the chance to meet them in person and thank them for being such wonderful people~

My love for infinite (also Inspirits) will go a long way, I am sure of that. I will always admire their hardwork and talent ever since their trainee days, how they worked their ass off and gain (not inherit) fans, not sleep just to practice, not go home just to train, and live in a run-down house under mortgage just to survive. Woollim and Infinite along with Nell, will always be my definition of "From nothing into something". Small agency, no budget, no dorm, no proper practice room, Epik High has to train them and teach them but then suddenly got into a scandal that they had to leave so as not to affect Infinite's debut and the agency's image, appear on shows no matter how small it is, comeback after comebacks, CEO sold his house due to budget problems, then comes Be Mine era when they were at the verge of disbanding if they do not win. Up till now, they are the most humble group ive encountered. This is why they deserve every love and appreciation of Inspirits. I cannot consder myself Inspirit bcos I was not there when they debuted. Can I join u guys? Haha. Thank you Infinite for your wonderful music! :)

I think there's no need to prove or what because I strongly believe #INFINITE in their times are well love and very popular too. Im not really about the views.We just came to a point where the amount of views matter. In #INFINITE era they had small views but they slay left and right and most specially they were very popular in their country. There's no need to be like label of BTS and etc.
So back in 2013, I saw them perform on MAMA and I thought: these guys are so cool, I will like them starting from now on. Then I forgot about it. I wasn't really into Infinite before but when they came to London, there were quite a few tickets left over so the night before the concert I bought one as I decided I was going to properly check out Infinite and see what they're like. So, I downloaded a few title songs of their's that night to listen on the way to the concert and tried to learn their names so I wasn't a complete clueless person throughout the whole thing, but I swear when I came out the venue after the concert I was like full on Inspirit as if i'd just discovered a new aspect to life, their concert was one of the best concerts I've been to since their live performances were just SO FABULOUS. ;A;

I have to say, I'm a VIP who doesn't really care much for the rookie groups. So when I first saw these group of guys at the MAMA awards red carpet event the other day, I was like, who the hell are they? compared to EXO (n the only reason i noe they are EXO was frm the sheer no. of their members...), these group of boys certainly looked less appealing. so it wasn't until their performance stage that I realise that they are Infinite. and i am so impressed with their songs!! so impressed that i'm having Destiny on repeat all day right now. Good song >>>>>>> Good looks!! altho the one named Hoya and L caught my eye...but still, i'm glad i'm got to know them because of their songs, rather than their looks!!
People are missing a lot of things if they ignore Infinite! I used to be a vip too. but Infinite stole my love away! But still I love big bang. It's just that I don't really follow their activities anymore as much as I do with Infinite.

Why is it that every time I come to watch just one INFINITE vid, I end up marathoning through their entire playlist of MVs. I'm literally just so head over heels in love with them.
It's impossible not to! I didn't become a Inspirit until fairly recently, but even before then I couldn't just watch one mv! And after the mvs I always ended up at marathoning through their performance versions as well!

Everyone keeps asking about Version A of this. I'm pretty sure you can find it if you Google it (I watched it).
Destiny Version A wasn't released b/c it was at an airplane graveyard (where they get rid of old airplanes; kind of like a car scrap yard). At that time, the Asiana plane crash happened. So out of respect, Woollim removed the parts filmed at the airplane graveyard (which became known as Version B).
The same thing happened with Last Romeo. The original version with L as the lead had to do with being on a ship/sinking/being underwater, but the Sewol tragedy happened. So out of respect, they changed the setting to a library. This is why I love Woollim; they have so much respect for others. Not to mention that they still kicked ass with Destiny and Last Romeo even though they had to make major last minute changes.

+aaSiriusly Tardis And last time i remembered i suddenly searched for the plane graveyard after i saw their bts for Destiny MV..such a real hardwork....and doing it again..must have costs a lot....but Woolim was so considerate...back then,i don't even know Asiana was a korean flight....but.hihi.honestly..both for Destiny and LR...i like the original MV better....Both are good...just that my preference more on the original..but it doesn't matter anyway...i still watched both of it =).

Phuong Le Woohoo very similar experience to how I fell for INFINITE. But the first MV that drew me in was Be Mine. Before then, I actually had a quick glimpse of these guys on Samsung Galaxy commercial but had no idea who they were. Yup, spazzing INFINITE has become my daily routine, mostly before bedtime LOL.....Same here!
