As a long term follower of Gfriend, I believe you touched on many key elements of the song as the 10th anniversary track. One can definitely find lyrics that call back to Gfriend's past tracks. Specifically to your question on the verse "...the distance between us remains the same", in Gfriend's breakout hit "Rough", one would find the line "We are like parallel lines". It's pretty easy to identify the connection here. Kudos for making the observation. Don't think Gfriend has a song titled "Tic Tac" but you can find the reference in their last title track "Mago". In any case, the clock (time) has always occupied a special place in Gfriend's songs. Many of their tracks carry sentimental and nostalgic senses that goes beyond temporary sensory satisfaction. There is always a strong undercurrent of life value in the message that continues to resonate long after the last note of the song ends. Many, myself included, long for an extended and protracted Gfriend presence for more musical gems to enjoy. In spite of the obvious uncertainty in the merciless business realm, I will remain optimistic, as the Gfriend spirit would call for, in seeing the girls do what they do best on stage to share the joy they produce in the future. PS: I'd also add that Gfriend's choreographies have always been elegant and expressive in support of the message of the song.

I had a feeling there were callbacks to previous songs but without that knowledge base of their discography, I certainly couldn't prove it. Aha!! Parallel lines...thats the word/phrase I was looking for at 2am when I recorded this lol. I described everything but that term haha. But I got there in the end LOL Well, let's us hope for that continued journey with the girls so I can join in...better late than never ❤️ I, like many, would love to see them continue on and on.... let's go for a 20th anniversary haha ..hwaiting!
The literal translation for the Korean title of this song is 'In Our Affectionate Season'. When the composer was thinking about how to make gfriend's 10th anniv project song, he binge-watched gfriend past concerts and saw the slogan fans made which was "i'll be with with you forever in your affectionate season", and that's how he made it as the title of the song.
