you all may as well enjoy it .seems in uk by the time kids are 8 they dont like toys anymore.parents say dont bother they only want really expensive things for hundreds of pounds.looking on you tube usa it seems kids there like toys to age 12 ,depends on the toy at 12 i mean star wars figures lego sets there are some really cool toys out there so really surprised .I think personally a lot of kids want to continue at least to collect them but pressure of friends makes them have to stop which is sad,
I ran out of room in my stashing closet and told my boyfriend to not let me buy anymore. I ended up moving stuff around and saying “this is fine. I’ll save it for valentine day/Easter/birthday” 😆

My kids have the leapfrog Rockit twist games. They’re great! We had them put away for Christmas but had to evacuate for a hurricane and gave them early. They were lifesavers during that trip!

My dad also died suddenly at the beginning of this October . We are lucky to have our kids to make this holiday super Merry . I’m also super excited to see the kids open their presents . New beginning for our family for sure .
I literally shopped for my daughter until I ran out of money roflao. I don't make much myself because I stay at home and homeschool our daughter. My Mom spent her whole bonus on my daughter and 2 nephews. Its ok though. Christmas is only once a year and they are only little once. Ive been trying for another since my 11 year old was about 3 and havent had any luck. Ive had mad baby fever for 8 years lol. My girls really into art too. My Mom got her some $250 Copic markers (shes crazy I think) and my daughter really wanted a bunch of Jurassic Park stuff. We found drawing books, sketchbooks (you can never have enough paper), a portfolio, paints, brushes, pastels ect for under $100 at Michael's. I last minute ordered her a Blue night light thing and Jack Horners newest book (just came out at thanksgiving) last minute on the 20th and it actually came in time. I am definitively done now because my truck broke down and my husband is over the road until Friday lol Those animator dolls are really good quality. Emmas had hers for a while. She collects a lot of figurines too. She likes Hatchimals still but if they made them as dinosaurs shed lose her mind lol. My daughter wanted one of the vacuums real bad at like 2 as well so my Dad being a smart man, bought her a real hand held vacuum and taught her to clean the bugs at his camp. She did that for years and it was instant when they would get to camp. She called it her bug sucker

I keep a bullet journal and I track what I buy and how much it costs so I can make sure I spend the same amount (or as close as I can) on all 4 of them. I also go way overboard but it’s just less stressful to be able to see the list.

I made myself exercise some self control (well in my mind...they each got 5 tree wrapped gifts and then 8-10 wrapped stocking stuffers individually valued no more than $20) lol some people would say that’s still not “minimal” but for me it’s progress. Lol I haven’t purchased anything else for them and resisted temptation ! I feel so proud of myself, but I’m loving the last minute gift additions from the YT mommies who kept shopping! Lol I was tempted not to watch this one though...only because after watching your last video I had to get one more stocking stuffer and get that adorable Toy Story book you showed! Well that meant my 6 mos. old needed one more 😝 so I had to find her something too. 😂

I think the Disney nightgowns are running really large right now. My daughter is normally a 5/6. I ordered her a 7/8 in the Aurora nightgown, because for so long everything has run very small. Well it showed up HUGE. Hopefully she’ll still be into it when she grows into it. I thought about trying to return it, but it took over 2 weeks to get to me in the first place.

They haven’t really actually. Last year we had a minor issue but honestly on the whole they just ignore them. Fingers crossed that lasts. I could see them try to catch little peeks here and there when they’re older.
Maybe it’s the dress and arms but that Barbie didn’t look plus size from what I could see. She was beautiful tho. At least they try 🤷🏻♀️ lol. Love watching these hauls. I have 4 kids and I’m almost done shopping , just need to finish my 11 yr old son off. But idk these are fun to watch.
