I've seen him 3 times out of my life and I'm 62yrs old there is no either like him no where in the whole wide world I promise you that
I saw him once in 1991. I first heard him on the Lovesexy album when I was 13. Unknowingly, I played ' I feel for you ' by shaka Khan over and over in the eighties. I loved purple rain 🌂 I am almost 50 now. My 4 boys have grown up listening 🎶 to Prince. I miss him, they miss him 💜

Prince was not only the greatest of all time, but he truely had that very special talented gift of charisma bringing delightful happiness and sparkling joy to people throughout his journey of life. My heart is just filled with so much joy and happiness watching him perform. I love seeing the smiling faces of the audience. Prince was a very gifted human being. I feel blessed to be part of Prince's journey.

I saw this show on Facebook about a year and a half ago. I’m a collector and I’ve seen A LOT of stuff and I have recordings from every tour that he went on. But I must admit, every now and again you come across a show that just breaks the mold, and friends this is one of them. If I had to list the top 10 best shows I’ve seen from him, this one would probably make the top five. This is one of the best concerts that he ever gave. The rare addition of “Gold” was just pure magic. And the way that his stage lighting was able to recreate the music video with ticker tape and all was just breathtaking. 💛💛💛💜

I'd love to find the concert where the audience members were moving in different directions and were bumping into each other. Prince had to actually show them which direction to move at the same time. It was hilarious. Prince had to give them dance lessons. Lol.

A confession. I don’t think I ever really “got” Prince when he was alive. Enjoyed the singles as great pop music but never felt the need to go any deeper but I started watching this out of curiosity and what do you know ……… yup the joke is on me. What a man, musician and irresistible force he is. I have a great deal of exploring and catch up to do. Mind you I felt the same thing about Springsteen till someone dragged me kicking and screaming to see him live. 23:53

Prince Welcome to Canada Dec 17 2011 Victoria BC right up front centre beyond the front row! Thank You Prince it was a unforgetable show! Rest In Peace I bought the Welcome To America Box Set to remember the only time you played in my town.
I love to see the audience when it’s possible. To see all of them smiling and see how much happy they are. Prince had this ability to make every one happy immediately. Great gift! So unique musician…..so special human being. Blessed to have been there somewhere during his journey…..

I was there for both the Friday and Saturday shows in Toronto. This is Saturday, since he opened with Gold. I remember Prince played longer on the Friday show, which was the Canadian tour opener. They rehearsed earlier that week at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. That was a closed rehearsal. They were late opening the doors for the Friday show, maybe because of late leaving Hamilton. The first night on Friday, everyone was recording the show. The second night on Saturday there were signs saying no recording. We're lucky whoever posted this second night show.
I too was at both shows. This show was unlike anything I've seen. Unexpected. God I miss him ..so grateful I've seen him to say hello and In concert 💜
I’m so grateful I saw prince live in Detroit. It was his Musicology tour. Everyone there got a free Musicology CD. I still have mine and of course my ticket stub.
I saved every ticket for every show I’ve been to thru the years. I have hundreds starting back in the early 80’s.
Awesome gig story!!! My girlfriend and I got to see Prince twice at L.A. Forum.
I think at Staples Center too. Amazing gig. Really fun. Deep. People were VERY dressed up. Very. Lots of limos, too. Lots. It was FABULOUS!

The Canadian Toronto audience was not responsive.... Prince tried to get them to sing and join along with a unified voice to a few lyrics of the first song, but for the size of the audience in the stadium the response was very weak It's not that they were not glad to be present in the moment and mesmerized by Prince's presence, but I believe Canadians in general are some-what like the British when it comes to expressing emotional enthusiasm - unless it a crown of male youth at a football match!... So, in an attempt to try to get the crowd to be in the moment and join in singing a few lyrics out loud Prince decided to follow up the first song with his universal anthem- Purple Rain- which he never would have done so early on in the concert if the crowd had not been so initially unresponsive. That song is always a final song close to the end of the concert. He even asked the crowd, " Are you really ready for this?" Had this concert been in L.A., NY, Seattle, Brazil , Etc.... the response from the crowd would have been very different!
I noticed the EXACT same thing and thought he adjusted on the fly to play Purple Rain so early when I watched.

I have never heard this out of the mind version of this song you see that was Prince He sees everything in the audience and acts towards them but this is bursting of emotions how he feels that is what is in all his songs and on this concert He had capacity like nobody else. I always say Prince is the One for all of the time. LOVE.

I'm just so angry at those closest to him like Larry Graham, his bodyguard Kirk Johnson, Sheila E especially, the cook who left, his Manager, all these people who deny they knew anything, when they knew.. it's different if Prince was in, intolerable pain and was ready to go after Vanity. However to clean up around the place, wipe up fingerprints and throw bottles away, "You definitely damn knew." And not to provide aid to someone is a crime! Prince deserved better than he got. I went to his show in Seattle a few weeks later. First time seeing him live. It was a bit disappointing, TBH! He barely played 90 minutes and he seemed like he www just going through the motions. It wasn’t a sold out show because of the lack of advertising and the fact that it was a last minute add on show.
It was to a horrible show, to be fair. But, we all left a bit unsatisfied
