Thank you for the good reminders. I was a JW for over 50 years and realized I was being lied to. Now I am Orthodoxy Christian and feel much better. Just remember the Bible says Col. 1:15... Jesus Christ is God's only begotten or first born, not made. JW teach he was made. So many other things are wrong because they are not Holy. ☦️
@@holyresurrectionofchrist thank you. It has been difficult as I was disfellowshipped meaning my family won't talk to me because of the Holy Cross and Holy Communion etc. ☦️ but Jesus Christ said that would happen and to be joyful because our reward is great in heaven.
I'm not sure I understand the elders first point; is it, that he is not actually asking rhetorical questions, but his vision is simply a desire for such a 'spiritual emergency hospital'? Or is it, that such a place does not exist, and so like a person would not check the time and wait to be seen for physical emergencies, a person must not wait for spiritual emergencies? If the latter, what must a person then do? Repent before God Himself immediately, or something else? Thanks
His point is that there is a direct link to God. Repent and pray to God for forgiveness immediately. PRAYER is the key. Christ is the Archpriest and forgiver of sins. PRAYER. Having a spiritual father confessor is good but the emergency hospital he mentions is Christ himself which is available 24/7
@@8bit4you do u only ask for forgiveness from God when a priest is present? or is it right after u have sinned, despite intentions to confess also to a priest? yes, confess to a priest for the remission of the sin as that is the tradition (i.e confessing before the icon of Christ, kissing the epitrachelion/having it over your head etc etc), but in no way should u be counseling people in a manner that makes them think asking for forgiveness when a priest isnt present is pointless. i see what u sort of mean, but i think u are phrasing it in a way that may deceive people.
@@8bit4youEven if we sinned during the day, most don’t have access to a priest for confession right away. At minimum would take a day or two at least where I live. Also don’t all of us fall into sin everyday? Does that mean we need to confess everyday before going to bed? I also remember reading about a story where a nun left the monastery and was living a life of fornication. She eventually realized and repented of was doing and made her way back to the monastery however she fell dead at the gates and according to the story she was still saved because of the repentance in her heart.
Suggestion: It would be nice to have the chants that are used in the videos mentioned in the description. Greatly appreciate the content!

@@UnconditionalLoveandnojudgemen Praise God you found orthodoxy. So many former JW's I've met jump completely into the world.
Glory to God
