    a little project I've done to my feeding tractor, i built a box out of 16ga steel and bolted it to where the weight bracket goes to store used net wrap, just make sure you have clearance from your loader, makes it real handy

    Why use the chap stick on the needle for the dart

      It helps keep the medicine in the dart when I level the gun to take aim.

    Avoiding flies sounds like a good reason to have calves born early. I suspect that is at least part of the reason cows choose to have their babies in colder days, when they can.

      Maybe! Most wild animals birth in cooler weather, so it might be a natural instinct. I sure don't profess to be an expert, I just know what works for my operation.
