Hope you enjoy the kettle, well as much as you can enjoy a kettle that is lol For what it's worth, we still have ours and have had no issues with it at all.
I have the same kettle. My only gripe is the hinge on the lid has loose on one side. Otherwise a great product especially with the temperature control.
@@Daaaaaaavid a few articles online I think one was the sun. It works out 1p per cup on electric. Overall it was the cheapest to run. So logic it may be more expensive but you will save in the longrun.
Q: IS IT SAFE TO REPEATEDLY HEAT DRINKING WATER BELOW 100°C ? A: SEEMINGLY SO (see below for more information). Like me, you may be wondering whether it's safe to repeatedly heat water to below 100°C, the boiling point, especially as those double walls will keep that repeatedly heated water warm for extended periods. What about heat-resistant bacteria, such as E.coli and Legionella? Although I like the idea of a kettle that'll heat my water to temperatures below 100°C for correctly making teas or fresh ground coffee, I wasn't sure. So, I did some research. It is reported by the experts (which I'm not) that heating to 70°C is an "instant kill". I'm assuming that this is why 70°C is the lowest temperature BOSCH chose for us to heat water at. It seems they've also done the research, but it's always good to know. Thank you for a great video review, Paul. Other than this safety question, you answered all of my questions just as they popped into my mind. That's really impressive, Paul. 👏 _____________ For those who'd like to see the scientific research article for themselves, just click on the following link: Article: "Quality change mechanism and drinking safety of repeatedly-boiled water and prolonged-boil water: a comparative study | Journal of Water and Health | IWA Publishing." iwaponline.com/jwh/article/18/5/631/75644/Quality-change-mechanism-and-drinking-safety-of
After watching this I bought one, well ok it was not my first choice but many shops were out of stock of sage.Great kettle let down by MADE IN CHINA,and the fact I wrote a review for bosch they got upset and asked me to rewrite it. Censorship lol. Go on the germans, never a company to be up front unless there caught out....dieselgate lol...
it is a really nice and handy thing. the touch slider and led are amazing touches.
Haha didn't knew you made these reviews 2, just bought this one today and loving it.
@dannyvanlaarhoven if it's got a button and an LED on it, I'll review it 🤣
Great review of this kettle. Planning to also buy this one. Just wondering if yours is still going strong after 4 years?
Just bought this one from Argos and it arrives tomorrow. It didn’t tell you about the blue light how cool. Many thanks for the great review.
Hope you enjoy the kettle, well as much as you can enjoy a kettle that is lol

It would have been a good idea to show the whole boiling of the water so we can hear how noisy it is.
Awesome video, really nice and informative.
If you have 'keep warm mode' set, remove the kettle and put it back, is the keep warm mode still on?
I love to see a video of you showing us what that lovely AV is capable of

Hi great video just one question ,how noisy is it or is it quite thanks merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
How loud is it? Looking for a really quiet kettle and it's hard to judge from the video since many cameras adjust sound levels... Cheers
Another great video sir! I’m thinking of getting one for my mums birthday and your review was extremely helpful thanks!

Once its boiled doesnt the blue temp indicator stay on and show the temperature as the water cools? It would be handy if it did.
No it doesn’t
@@TheTechGiantRUclips Sad, they never think it to the end.
