I like the reference to suzie's "Tuning KOKORO in the style of many VOCALOID producers" video by using the english part at the exact same moment in the song.
parts of len's version at the start and end, english lyrics at the bridge, the japanese bridge at the start, other tweaks to the singing and notes, this cover has it ALL, and it SLAPS
People give too much sh*t about Project Mirai, that entry was AWESOME in the Project series!!!!
I totally agree. A bit simpler than the Diva games but just as fun and challenging in its own ways, I love it. Project Mirai is one of the reasons I still carry around my 3DS...cant leave chibi Miku for too long she'll get pissed! Lol.
I've always loved Mirai more than diva, for multiple reasons. One of them was the Kokoro PV, in Diva it's just Rin dancing around. While I love dancing it just doesn't fit Kokoro at all.. While this PV really conveys the meaning of the song far better.
Wait, do people not like the Project Mirai games? I can understand not liking the first version but 2/DX were really good improvements. Bummer if true, but I guess it's understandable considering it's a bit different especially when comparing them to the project diva games. Also project Mirai was how I found out about vocaloid scene so i guess I'm slightly bias towards it.
@@CTR_SimonMK7 Yea, it was my first project diva on console too (i'm a nintendo guy) but yea i've heard a lot of people not liking the game because it was too easy (ok i can't give them wrong here, it is) but personally i still like the game, mostly on super hard difficulty (the equivalent of "extreme" on other project diva)
@@FunnyParadox super hard can be challenging, as well as level 8-9 hard difficulties like the dreaded Gaikatsu Gakudan To Riria (except I played it waaaay too much so I got perfect 4 times and it's just a stress reliever for me now) and other modules are really fun, of course there are some boring ones, mostly level 6 hards, but the pv makes up for it lol
Also, if I'm not wrong, it has more content than diva? But I never played Diva, so-

kokoro is certainly one of my favorite vocal synth songs and im so so so happy to have heard this cover redone with my favorite vocal synth!! stunning as always tanjiro! 🥖❤🥖
I’m literally in tears. Kokoro is my absolute favorite song in the whole world, and your old Teto cover had always been my favorite version of it. Mirai DX is my favorite video game and seeing these 3 elements come together makes me so happy!! The mod looks amazing, the new cover sounds amazing, and not only has this video made my day, my week, it’s made my whole life

I genuinely didn't think it was possible for you to top the first version of your cover. And yet, here we are, with perhaps one of your most solid works to date.
I felt something, man. A lump in my throat, a pain in my heart. You consistently outdo yourself, time and time again, and I was foolish to think this would be any different. To think, I've been following you for five whole years, and I've been able to watch you grow and your abilities become something greater with each new upload. I'm overjoyed that you're still out here, giving Teto everything she deserves, but most of all, I'm just happy that you're still going, after all this time.

IM GONNA CRY THIS WAS AMAZING!! the improvement from the kokoro cover five years ago really comes through here!!
and even used the mirai pv, which is one i hold very dear in my heart and makes this even more emotional for me (and going so far as to use teto which i imagine wasn't an easy process so big kudos to GenoX for that!)
i also adore how each cover has its own variations from the original, from tweaking the notes to singing in another language to mashups with other songs, it's always incredible and makes your covers stand out even more

I still think this is not only the best Teto cover of Kokoro, but the best cover of Kokoro in general. The amount of faithfulness to the source material and how you tuned her voice, all really good

I forgot how much specifically the mirai pv version makes me cry geez I was not ready qwq, the vocal additions one you put in only made it so much more intense and emotional. Holy-. This is just. I have no words.
Since finding your channel there are several songs that I heard for the first time, as in I heard your cover before the original. Often your cover is so good that it almost ruins the original song for me: all I can hear when listening to it is the spaces where your added harmonies and vibratos and alternate language lyrics would fit. This is the case for Hibana, the Snow White Princess, Hello Worker... And Kokoro was the first. It was also the one with the most emotional impact, because I've always loved tragic stories about robots gaining sentience & robots in general.
I genuinely think the original cover of Kokoro redefined in my head what it was possible to do with vocalsynth. It blew my mind 5 years ago and it still does to this day. It set the golden standard for covering songs and this updated version just takes it above and beyond in a way I didn't even think possible.
Thank you Tanjiro, this is indescribably beautiful even though I've just described in detail why it makes me feel so strongly :')

You should listen to his cover of Android Girl, don't get me wrong I love the original but his cover has so much emotion and power whereas the original sounds kinda flat in my opinion.
