Good Evening I have a 2007 Freighter M2 106 Tow Truck And I’m Trying to Locate the Brake light switch I Don’t Have any brake lights and all fuses and relays are good
So I also ran fused power like you did to one side of the switch and the other side to the brake controller. Still isn’t cooperating. Am I missing something?
Sounds right... Make sure it is connected to the brake switch wire on controller... There needs to be separate 12v to controller Blue wire off controller to trailer brakes and a good ground
es muy bueno hacer eso yo lo hago de la parte de atrás y lo alimento con una linea viva de el arnés general con el bulbo y lo conecto directo a las unidades independientes de direccional
To be honest I do not really remember it's been some time ago you just need to switch that is normally open and would close with air pressure should be able to get it at any truck supply parts store
Great way to skin the cat. Always impressed by guys that can figure out problems like this.

Great solution 👊🏽
What’s the pressure rating on that switch?
Thank you so much big help
Off the wall question...where is the air brake compressor located on those rigs? I have been looking for a diagram. Thanks
could you show the rest of the wiring process and how you tied into the trailer PDM.

Blue wire off controller to trailer brakes and a good ground
Check new switch with a test probe make sure power is getting through
THANKS FOR THE SOLUTION!!
What psi switch did you use or will any psi work?
Did you have any issues with break lights on your trailer not working?
No that would be unrelated. Trailer light wiring is separate of brake control
Can you give me the part number to that pressure switch please
where did you get the 1/4 inch coupler I need to do that set up
Ray Gallegos any truck supply shop or I got mine from custom hose a local hose distributor
Parker Hose Store, 372PTC-4-2 or 377PTC-4-4

Normally open or closed pressure switch. I’m trying this with mine and it’s not working correctly
Open
Could you be more specific on all of your wiring or even post another video being more descriptive. Thanks.
Why you put switch there
My set up is very similar and just as easy
