Yep, even with a WIIM mini its still way short of the WIIM Amp. No HDMI or DSP or remote.
How often can we say a knob has a nice feel and not get strange looks. 😂 Maybe though its like the name randy, both knob and randy have rude meanings in British English, randy means horny here and knob is a insult and also a male body part. The joys of the English language. 😂

The DAC chip is the Bluetooth in usb mode
The biggest issue I had with the amp is the power rating is not as claimed. For the 2 channel part it will not even be close to 165 watts even with the power supply upgrade. I feel you can do better for that amount of money. It does look very good though and the casing does not get hot. It sounds ok but not as great as it should be for the price and claimed wattage.
I agree. They'd do a lot better to provide power specs for the amp _with the supplied power adaptor_ rather than stating the TPA3255 chip's absolute maximum ratings. The 50 watts you would get, per channel, with the 32 volt supply is still pretty good for most people.
But, so you know... yes the TPA3255 chip itself can produce 300 watts per channel on 4 ohms with about 10% distortion. But that requires a far better cooling solution than this amplifier design provides.
Except for the UV meter, this new product is not worth the higher price 😊

Yes it does ... in a fully enclosed case heat will build up something awful. The case may be warm but the TPA3255 chips will be just a boiling in there. With a 48 volt supply it will repeatedly go into thermal protection, if you push it.
Which, btw, is why it comes with a 32 volt supply.
@@Douglas_Blake_579 Um actually no it doesn`t need to have airvents! If it needed air vents they would have put them in!1 Sorry even with a 48 v power supply it does NOT need air vents!! That is a fact!!

You are far too trusting.
The TB10D and BT20 pro both have TPA3255 chips in them with sealed cases and I can easily push either of them into thermal protection in just a couple of minutes.

Just curious - since this is a new product, I couldn't find out (yet) if the Op Amps were interchangeable like many of the other Fosi releases. Do you know (or could you check) to see if the Op Amps are interchangeable in that new MC351? If they are, then this would be a fantastic unit to play with.

Add a 8 in sub with 92db/ watt driver and re listen . Use some real music with bass , your opinion will go from ok to wow
Will it turn on when it receives power?
Or do I need to turn this on every day when I activate power?
I have the Fosi ZA3 and the sound is phenominal, but I have to press the volume button every day for 2 second when power is activated
