I love how the building interact with the terrain.
"I am gonna leave it here..."
... rambles on for ten more minutes.
Love it! 😆
I am what I am. ;)
@@CharliePryor Yeah, i recently subscribed because of that ;-)
Instead of moving the logging camp, can't you just set up the helicopter construction office to shuttle the logs about? I love this game, and I love to see how your Underwear Empire is developing! And you're right, the game looks AMAZING. I almost imagine I can see birds nesting in the thatch roofs!
Can’t use helicopters… but large flocks of carrier pigeons are being trained as we speak…
that new housing district at the end... nice ribcage you made there ;)
Thanks for the detail on how to build up multiple towns. Edited to add -- the research tree for each town really needs to be thought out based on resources. Much more complicated view of the town development choices that I've seen so far.
You bet!
I have terribly crippling autism.
This video made me happy.
Good job!
Since I played the demo I can't wait for the release. Your series once more just grow the hype for me.
Add more families to the tavern to move the ale from the brewer faster. The ale doesn't seem to go to the market or the grainery but directly to the tavern.
Yup
6:35 There is supposedly a King of the lands (there's the king's road, also mention of king's favor) and I imagine he enforces some peace treaties, which could include open borders.
31:36 either this might be a quantity thing, there's probably not enough to go around, or that paltry road connecting them to the market square is not up to snuff with the locals 😂
Yes
Hunting grounds is very good policy if your area doesn't have any agriculture but rich animal spot. Well, at least based on what I have seen on RUclips videos, since I am not able to play the game myself yet :D
The new market won’t start to fill up until the first market runs out of spaces for stalls.
That’s fine I guess. I was wrong about the distance thing anyways.
horses might be use more once the thec. tree unlocks stuff.
Hi buddy, mabey a option is to traid for malt and sell your eggs and armer enz.. Probably help your other villages go with a traider ✌️.
Is the another way to get influence other than killing bandits? Do you need to stockpile 4000 influence prior to claiming the last unclaimed land plot so you have enough to take on the other lord?
Grow your towns. You gain influence for that too
1:04:44 Probably too late, but if you see this, maybe a tavern where your market is then another market on the other side. So Market | Tavern | Market. As it seems like the tavern needs to be in the centre of your squares to get that requirement fullfied often? Your first OG development I would do the same in the middle Market | Tavern | Market. They be smaller but 14+14 = 28 so moreorless the same as one big one.... Even though I do like your design.
Just need more people working the tavern. The ale goes directly to it from brewery, not market, so it just needs more people rolling it up the hill. ;)
@@CharliePryor oh thanks Charlie, very quick answer! Hope your day is going well :)
Frank.
Excellent stuff Charlie but you obviously weren't wearing the helmet because we could still hear you.
You really should build some roads between your settlements. Those donkeys go way around.
If your really interested in making the big bucks buy clay for 1 gold make it jnto roof tiles and sell them for 8 gold that's how I made a lot of money
You think their is any chance of making hard cider with all the apples? Hic burp
🍻
You can visit your town by pressing the yellow thing next to your character you should definitely do it
You can always tell who has watched all of the videos. ;)
@@CharliePryor I’m on episode 4 my bad I work 6 days a week so I only get to watch on my days off I just saw a short of someone else doing it so I was like that’s fire😂😂
@@CharliePryor what episode do you do it in
@@MovedByHoops my apologies. I simply assumed those who were watching number 7 had seen number 5 and 6: ;)
@@CharliePryor no I just went to your newest video so you would see it lol should be on number 5 tonight thoooo. You put content out so quickly so it’s hard to keep up that’s not a bad thing tho😂❤️
perhaps you need to have more than one family farming to get all the fields done in time?
Goldhof has 6 dedicated families on farming.
They need to add the ability to send materials without getting anything in return.
Charlie the dirty baron
The distance to the market thing is stupid short. I mean so many realistic things in this game but a market more than 100 feet away being unacceptable is ridiculous.
Yeah I think I'm wrong about the distance though. You'll see later
@@CharliePryor oh that's good I was thinking this is a symptom of early access and not knowing how it would play out in practice.
Start raising bees so you can sell honey & mead.
Limited to just two apiaries per region. Seems like a really limited thing.
@@CharliePryor bees are hard to catch :P
Pretty sure they did not plow the entire field because the seasons changed and it was time to sow..
I’d find it incredibly hard to believe the field with the highest priority and for which is in very close proximity to the farm managing it, didn’t complete before the others did due to seasons. ;)
i skipped to this video, def little different than i was expecting it to be.
i figured more first person, medeival dynasty style.
that said i not liking what little i seen.
Then play Medieval Dynasty. The economics is better in this game, as is the combat - assuming you like RTS in the first place of course. Plus this is all developed by a single guy, so it gets auto-props from me
@@CharliePryor also over 200k wishes on steam. Imagine if only 20% of them buy this game. BANISHED 2.0!!!!
@@METALFREAK03 now imagine if 10% of those people buy it at nexus.gg/charlie ! ;)
@@CharliePryor My plan is to do this indeed. Also as a gift to my brother (as it's his birthday on the day it comes out)
Just like you can set up a trade route to have all the stuff you need with other cities off the map, which you can also sell your extra stuff to
did anyone already comment that “Waldbrand” is “forest fire” in german…
I’m gonna change the meaning of that name to “Prosperity” now. ;)
you need horses for cavalry, I think. I saw there was a mention of it in a couple play throughs.
Are you saying cavalry is already in the game?
@@CharliePryor no, but that's what the horses are for.
Horses go in the trading post to move trade goods while mules go in the Pack Station to move bartered goods.
BTW Charlie; you can set individual storehouses to accept only certain goods. So you can specialize your stockpiles with them if you want to.
And I am also a graphics whore. - If your graphics are bad, something else you have better be amazing. So don't sweat it when you stop and appreciate well-done eye candy. Some of us also enjoy it.
