Thank you for the build. Everything makes sense. I appreciate you spending time explaining all the details. I’m using this as the foundation for an iron banner build. I do not have the exotics you mentioned, so I’m gonna go with Ophidian Aspect instead.
This has been my main class since it dropped totally changed the game for me plus i get conditional an wicked implement? Its such a versatile class wish they would shrink the time to super a tad
I know im late to this vid, but just FYI empowering rift does something weird with your melee, not sure if its intended or not but seriously try it with frostpulse. You get crazy melee lunge distance and speed right after freezing someone with empowering rift.
That’s intended, but it doesn’t work with healing rift because the duration for the extra lunge distance is super short and is already over by the time healing rift is finished casting. Since empowering rift casts faster, you get that extra lunge distance.
the one thing I hate about this build is that a lot of the time you'll get instances where your coldsnaps will do damage but not freeze due to server latency or you'll freeze someone and they'll kill you then freeze. It did get me to top 500 elo in quickplay and and 13k conditional kills so there's that lmao
Hey anyone know if ophidians still make the stasis melee travel faster/farther? It’s been a long time since I played stasis but I really enjoyed building into the melees in the past.
The fact this vid got to 2,4k views so quickly shows people don't care about learning to play better, they think it's the build that makes the man lol.
@Khalsa100 Personally I don't really care about getting better because I've always loved stasis warlock when it was first introduced. I've been playing since season of the Lost but I had stopped playing and came back for Light fall and started playing during season of the deep. After all these years of playing destiny I have never touched PvP because I don't care about it and cuz I know I'm trash. I don't have these God tier weapons that people have. Hell I'm gonna run chappy in place of CF because I've never done a raid before. As a player that can't really play high content like raids because no one is gonna wanna help me farm CF I have to rely on the second best options. Im also a console player so I'm already at a disadvantage against PC players with high fov. I wish we could change fov on Xbox but apparently that's beyond the games engine or the Try hards don't want us having PC settings.
for pvp, it enables you to take cover from a fight and re engage at a faster rate, where resilience just reduces flinch and gives you a little more health (more useful for hitting damage survival breakpoints) and discipline is just your grenade cooldown a lot of people prefer to have faster ability CDs over recovery, so it just comes down to preference
@@sidezz Thanks - mine is currently sitting at 105/78/102 (res/rec/dis), and there are definitely times (especially in Master lost sectors and PVP) where I wish I'd get the regen faster.
@@AcshualSnotski It totally depends on your build. For example on Strand Hunter, I like to grapple around and really prioritize my movement over everything (dodge and grapple), so 100 mobility and discipline is the most important thing for me.
I don't raid at all. I just got the gun last week using fire team finder on the final boss. Took me 7 completions. I saw a few ppl get it on their 1st try. The runs took no more than 15 mins after we got the cadence right. Give it a try next time Root of Nightmares is the weekly raid.
Console vs. PC. PC is hand cannons galore, Consoles are pulses/fusions galore until you hit the higher lobbies. And even when you reach higher SBMM brackets, you're still far more likely to see SMGs/Pulses/Fusions than Hand Cannons. Either that, or you're not a high enough SBMM bracket on both for it to affect you.
@@Existential_Robot bunch of hand cannons, but almost no one uses thorn. 120's are just objectively better. Rose seems to be the most common non-120 I come across (and personally use)

Because it is. Destiny doesn't really need good FPS fundamentals to be played well. If you've got a decent build and can aim a gun in someone's general direction, you win.

tbh, I have a bit of extra data and one of the most commonly searched things over the past handful of months is "warlock pvp build destiny 2"
