She is honest, I appreciate it. I too regretted the surgery soon after, there is nothing better than be yourself and love yourself for who you are. I wish that the Kardashian’s would gone to this realisation because they have a great number of followers that need to hear this message from that kind of source, the source that they admire so much.

Her family were Germans who migrated to Southern Brazil. As many did after WW2. Hence her German looks. And German surname.
@@whitedove8012 Gisele is the 6th generation of her family to be born in Brazil. Her family doesn't have any real connection to Germany anymore, and she doesn't even speak german. Just like millions and millions of brazilians.

I don't think someone like Gisele would be able to understand what Gia was going through. I'm a HUGE Gia fan. I even have a tattoo of her signature on my arm because she taught me so much and that is very powerful for someone to do when they aren't on this Earth anymore. I always wondered if Gia had a psychiatric evaluation, would the doctors have labelled her with anything? I know her mother leaving her at the young age of 11 must have been heartbreaking. That is the time when a girl needs her mom the most. It broke my heart to read that she would go to Julie Fosters house in the middle of the night just wanting to be hugged. I think Gia put on a lot of fake smiles for people.
Awww.....the poor thing....she had body issues. Must have been terrible going through something that every woman in the world goes through every day. But I never knew she had implants.
I think that alot of women think supermodels are confident and their bodies are perfect, and when Giselle says she had body issues & insecurities, it's as thou she's telling the world that she is not a super human & that she is normal like the rest of us!
