In Colorado, bicycles are generally treated as vehicles and have the same rights and responsibilities as other vehicles on the road. This means they generally have the right of way in designated bike lanes and when traveling straight through an intersection, but must still yield to pedestrians and other traffic with the right of way. The Colorado Safety Stop law allows cyclists to treat stop signs as yield signs, and red lights as stop signs in certain situations.
We need accountability for those that break the law.
