Thanks for watching, and sorry for the late reply, at this point, you probably made your decision already, but it is a massive downgrade going from 95% DCI-P3 to 73% of the 255f. I'd ask for another model if I were you, like the g244f
Well, the g4 is like $100+ more expensive, but if your budget goes that far, it is a great choice. Though, if you want to save money, as you'd not be really using its full 240hz potential on consoles, the Msi G255pf E2 will work just as fine
there alot of different 23.8 inch models g244pf e2/ g244f/ g244f e2 / g244pf how would you compare them? motion blur and ghosting is the biggest issue for me, which has the fastest response time? i know that the 1ms is not real and they are more likely to be around 5 to 9 ms
Basically the "PF" means it has an adjustable stand while the normal g244f e2 doesn't. Also, the g244f e2 is basically an upgrade over the normal g244f unless in terms of colors, but see my review if you want to know more :)
Hey, i have the option between this and gigabyte g24F 2. I can go for the gigabyte one if i wait sometime. My question is, is there a big and noticeable difference between the colours and response time that i should spend the extra money on the gigabyte. Also, msi is larger than the gigabyte one, which is making me want to buy msi one. What's your opinion which one should i fo for?
The g24f2 does have some slightly better features than the g255f but it's only worth it if it is like $10 - $20 more expensive, otherwise, you're fine with the g255f
It depends, the MAG 255XFV is way faster than the g255f, which makes it the more catering choice if you play mostly competitive games (though it has a bit of black smearing due to its VA panel) and is a bit more expensive. Yet, if you mostly play story-heavy games, the g255f would be the best one with its popping IPS colors and all...

if you choose the G24f2 you'd essentially be paying +$30 for more speed (1ms MPRT). So it's up to you, if it's in your budget and you play competitive games, go for it
