This basically always translates to a short-term performance bump no matter what industry does it in this region. They also had one of the best defenses in the league last year. The Saints likely have the one of the most talented rosters in the league and several key players are in contract years with a new unorthodox OC and a stout defense. Every position group has a NFL top 5 player in that unit, with the exception of QB. They also draft better than almost anyone, with the possible exception of Andy Reid. Their season really hinges on Derek Carr's ability to run the offense, which I don't think is a number 1 overall draft pick prospect.
