The general thought is that, Yamoah was to marry Serwa as they had been seeing each other for a long time. However, Yamoah rose to stardom with his music. And along came the fair Lizzy. She charmed Yamoah effortlessly and through a freak of decisions, Yamoah was soon to find himself married to Lizzy, leaving the dark beautiful Serwa Akoto for light skinned Lizzy. Soon thereafter, he came to understand that he had been deceived. It seemed Lizzy's beauty was only on the surface. She was trouble for Yamoah.
