Brilliant stuff lads - tune named after the Chapel beside Ed Reavy's birthplace of BARNAGROVE, Maudabawn, Cootehill, Co. Cavan - We will have to get you guys to come for one of our festivals and we can dance and play at the chapel itself - HUP!
Kinda wanna watch Titanic again. And I'll be looking for the rest of your fiddle tunes now that I've seen this. That's some nice footwork Brian. Saw a few new steps I'll be trying, just in time for St Patty's Day '18. :-)
That's cool. Great moves. Also, I'd never appreciated before just how similar some of those steps are to the 80s dance move The Running Man, as made famous by MC Hammer (and Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel Air).
+Matt - You'd be amazed at how many 'contemporary' dance moves are derived directly from the dancers of the past, most of which are based on traditional/folk dances from long ago . Just watch Bo Jangles, and the Nicholas Brothers. Bill Bailey actually did MJs famous moonwalk in 1955. The video is here on YT - titled 'The First Moonwalk'.
What a crackin version of this tune. Savage stuff Fergal
Always fun to watch someone who really enjoys their dancing, especially if they are talented like that gentleman.
