How much wheel horsepower did ur 4.0 gain from a cold air intake. I don't fully trust website's numbers. I rather hear it from someone who actually has CAI and had it tuned. I am asking as I am thinkin of getting a SCT tuner, CAI, and Shorty headers and idk if it will be worth the total of around $900 give or take depending on the dyno tune service cost and stuff. Also thank you in advance.
its been a littlw while since i had it dyno tuned but i believe it was 3-6hp Gain with complimenting other mods, so i dont think it would of been much if it was just a CAI but a dyno tune is way better than sct / bama tunes so i think i would unlock 8-11hp from the CAI with a dyno tune because they are way more accurate so someday i want to get it dyno tuned
@@RevLine89 all my stang has is a Ford racing cai from AM, which requires a tune so I got it dyno tuned and now make 185whp, mind you all I have is a muffler delete and the cai, I supposedly made 25hp gain after the tune tho, and love your build btw 👍🏼

@@RevLine89 But with a ported factory intake manifold, Longtube headers, an X-Pipe, full true dual free flowing exhaust, and a tune a cold air intake definitely becomes useful.

When I put my cold air intake on and the wrench came up on my dashboard so do I need a tune? Because it’s going off my old cold air intake
Yeah, sadly some cold air intakes need a tune some don't but a lot do
