As a Korean American myself, there’s always that stereotype that Asian fathers are more aloof and in general, we see a lot more songs dedicated to moms than dads. It’s really nice to see and listen to this and see how much their fathers love means to them. It’s not easy being a kpop idol and I can imagine how much their support means to the PTG members.
As an asian american as well but a cambodian american. Its true what you said about fathers and all. I mean most of our parents like as in mine arent americans. They arent from here and are from Cambodia and did came during the war and the usual cambodian survivors stories. If yall or anyone knows about it. They just learn not to show emotions. Or anything. Just straight face but thats just cause of how they grew up. But honestly the dads has so much emotion in them that builds up and all. My dad may not show his emotions and what not. But ive seen his broken heart. Ive heard from my mom that she has woken up to my dad crying due to my issues. My dad has broke about some of the stuff that has happened to me. My family rarely touch each other or gives hugs. But when we are leaving for trips or what not. My dad give the biggest hugs. My brother went away for college. And my dad was missing him like crazy not even a week. Got all choked up when he tried to tell my mom he misses his son. Dads has so much love for their kids. Behind the scene behind their straight face. Reality they show their love in such a different way then mothers. Both parents deserves songs. Everytime i hear this song i break down crying hahah

I had a classmate in high school who was really really good at drawing, and everyone would always say things like "you're a genius" or "I could never draw like that." And it really annoyed her because she didn't draw like that just because it was a natural gift, it was because she had worked and worked at it. I've heard this echoed a lot by other artists and it makes me appreciate this song even more. Of course Pentagon has natural talent too, but through their hard work and effort they really make their own Genius! And they deserve all the recognition for it.

I had a classmate in high school who was really really good at drawing, and everyone would always say things like "you're a genius" or "I could never draw like that." And it really annoyed her because she didn't draw like that just because it was a natural gift, it was because she had worked and worked at it. I've heard this echoed a lot by other artists and it makes me appreciate this song even more. Of course Pentagon has natural talent too, but through their hard work and effort they really make their own Genius! And they deserve all the recognition for it.
