If he wanted to, Mark could demand a million dollars an episode, given that NCIS can't not have him on the show, for the show to remain as popular as it is...With twenty million fans per week, he could pretty much get whatever he demanded from CBS...I say all that to say that Mark Harmon will never use his status on the show to take advantage of the network and/or any of the cast or crew members of NCIS...He's there for the work and he's there as a team player and he doesn't regard himself as better than any of the other cast members on the show...That kind of humility is extremely rare in, probably, the most egocentric place on the planet, Hollywood...When a tv star is more popular than Oprah, then, you know you're in a category all by yourself.
I respect Mark Harmon so much. He's such a good guy, funny, honestly humble, great example of a good marraige, and awesome actor. He may not be *the* star of NCIS, but he's one of the reasons I'm a fan of it.

Mark Harmon is a great guy! His charecter 'Gibbs' is quite inspirational and I really want to be like him.
